  1. Was gonna say Mr Ninja, it wasn't Mario was it? hahah.
  2. Define surpass the amps fuse rating. Are you saying larger than the amps required fuse rating is ok???
  3. Same here man. Live in Md, but work in Suitland. It isn't that I can't afford to live there, it's just in my best interest to NOT live in shootland. I thought about DC since it would be closer and then looked at prices..f that. I used to live in LA many many years ago. Isn't it more expensive there? Or about the same? Md isn't cheap either, but cheaper than DC. Lots of DMV, Delware and PA guys on this forum!
  4. Damn, I lurk a lot for being registered and never noticed his posts hahaha. BTW, Steve hates the East Coast, that's why...yep! kidding
  5. Oh thank sweet baby Steve Meade! It was getting to a point of kicking my PC, but then my laptop and then my phone, and work PC...I mean, not that I spend much time on here, but yea.
  6. He is referring to Ampmedics tool..I think I don't know, but that is border line slandering. To blame a tool, make fun of people using the tool, etc..yea, this along with my SKar amp being 'repaired' by him; I think I am done with any company that uses him as a warranty shop.
  7. I know, right? Never understood it, but I'm sure it is a build thing and a logical reason why. lol
  8. Is it possible to go the direction of the Cliff Design amps?? And have the grounds together and the pos together instead of neg next to pos? Not sure why, but this bugs me..lol. Wondered why more amps don't go this way?
  9. Well at 2 ohms it would be about 2600 watts. Divide that by 4 and you get 650 lol I figured as much, but with those prices, figured I would ask! haha EDIT: Awaits VVX blowout to buy 20 8s lol...but then how to wire them to 1(ish)ohm hahaha
  10. So, I know you can't just say this, but if someone was to put say..4 10s on a 4500 @ 2ohm, would they be 'ok'?
  11. Go drunk Steve, you're home!
  12. Maybe if you trolled harder, you would find out that they do split them up for small systems, large systems and, in this case, an all in random drawing for great SOTM goodies that are donated (free to the winners) by great companies within the SMD and car audio community. They do not HAVE to do this or owe it to you, but do it as a thank you....just sayin. Congrats Hunter! Lucky duck!
  13. Uhh...never knew they released lol. Seems as if these weren't talked about as much, maybe? I'll take two. I'll even pre-preorder I thought these were replaced with the other style that just released...Can't keep up
  14. While that helps it does not tell me how much it puts out at 13.8 volts no one can give you an exact measurement man. Cuz no one has your exact install,,,,plus it will go up or down with voltage fluctuation and box rise. An approximation is the best your gonna get without buying one and clamping it yourself. Couldn't have said it better myself lol That and .6 ish volts difference is minimal and probably won't even be noticed. =) So I shouldn't worry then? No. 1400 is a good rough estimate and I'm pretty sure the numbers they post are rated at 14.4 volts. For instance, if you look through some of their amps, they actually list 14.4v next to the rated RMS. http://www.skaraudio.com/index.php/productscatalog/amplifiers/item/sk-12001.html?category_id=6

  16. http://www.skaraudio.com/index.php/productscatalog/amplifiers/item/sk-25001d.html?category_id=6 Aprox 1400RMS..
  17. ^^This Not clipped, with good electrical..yes 2 can handle a 2500. If you are concerned, you can always get d2 subs and wire them to 2 ohm and run 1450 RMS to them. That comes out to 725 watts per sub (figuratively speaking)
  18. Steve, you drunk already? lol Happy New Year to all From the East Coast!
  19. Man, I hope this isn't true.. My Pup Only a face a mother can love haha
