    I built the same style T-Line in a Tacoma sub up port up and it's really loud, it's got a really good frequency range too!

    The DC website says recommended space for a SPL setup is 8 cu. ft. Is the DC website wrong? Edit: I built a 8 cu. ft. test box for my lvl 5 18 and it seemed good...

    Or you could drop the gain down on the amp and just wire at 1 ohm?

    The usual rule for port area is 12 to 16 square inches per cubic foot. What you have now is about 8.5 sq. in. per cube. You might wanna go alittle bigger. There's a good calculator on the 12 Volt.com: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp
