Its been the best alt I've used on my accord from performances to ease of install. Its ran my 2 2500s strapped running fult tilt on 3 min music runs and stayed at 13.3~5. Its a decent ground, but for the 2500 you say your running in your sig, I wouldnt use that. At the least I would drill and tap the frame to use for the ground. The best thing I would do is do a neg run back to the front batt. that will help with adding extra batts in the back too.

I had one that use to do it because the cord was getting a bad connection, I would try to switch out the cord.
