I was talking to a guy today an he was saying suburban have the same room under the hood as a tahoe, but a tahoe was originally what i was thinking about. -
Im looking to get an SUV for competition and need to put 1200 to 1500 amps of alts in it, So 4 or 5 alts. I need to know which SUVs will hold that many, and where to get a good bracket. It will also be roughly a 95 to 2004 year model.

Its a decent ground, but for the 2500 you say your running in your sig, I wouldnt use that. At the least I would drill and tap the frame to use for the ground. The best thing I would do is do a neg run back to the front batt. that will help with adding extra batts in the back too. -
I had one that use to do it because the cord was getting a bad connection, I would try to switch out the cord.

sounds like you turned a setting down and forgot about it. or if you have 2 subs wired in parallel you might have blown one when the batt fried. -
