TI-82 calculator
slugdub replied to Loudintha509's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
I say get it. As long as it lets you save formulas in it so you can pass your Physics test it's well worth it. Actually, wait 82 sounds kinda crappy, I think I had the 85 as a kid and that was decent enough. -

Washing machine question
slugdub replied to slugdub's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
But it annoys me that it just doesn't click when you turn it, that is all the metal plate is doing! -
It's a long story but my last house i rented on foreclosed and the landlord there owed me my deposit, as well as some credits for helping him reseed the lawn and do some maintenance he was not around to do. He was a really cool guy (part of the problem) and in the end, I ended up inheriting a slightly used Whirlpool coin-op laundry machine. There was also a dryer he was offering but the drum or something was the wrong size so I didn't want to mess with it. I'm glad I did because I suck with repairs. So I obviously also have a key to the machine and today hooked it up. I opened the cover with the intention of just leaving it off and then manually activating it myself, since I have no idea how to convert it to non-coin-op, if this is even possible. For some reason the mechanism seems fairly simple, you put in coins then it lets the metal plate slide back and spin this spring loaded wheel down and around and back. When I try to do this manually nothing happens and I can't figure out why. Here is pics of the metal spring thing and you can see the white plastic wheel that comes in straight at it to spin it around. If someone has any suggestions on how this works, please let me know. Or perhaps PM me a forum where people can possibly help? thanks.

But I don't see why you would pay $20 more for something from Best Buy that is out of the box when you can get it brand new at newegg? Buying a camera at Best Buy just doesn't make sense to me, heck, buying ANYTHING besides maybe DVD's or a TV or something that was on sale seems stupid to me with Ebay. You don't buy car audio stuff there do you? Well, besides a deck.. maybe? -

Not to be a dick but, you don't have any cane sugar colas there. Those would be the best. Ether Mexiacan Cola (or whatever non-US cola you can find that doesn't use shitty corn syrup in its recipe), Red Bull Cola or Jones or whatever will do, that is the best. Maybe second best a good Dr Pepper throwback, but that is somewhat irrelevant because you can't taste the difference much with food. -

X2 but that is just to decide on the model. The video reviews they have are invaluable. I'm going to sound like a broken record, but the best place to buy a camera has to be newegg.com, after you've decided on a model that is. Hot deals and usually free stuff bundled in with it. -

Well, you need different pairs of socks You know, some times you need the coloured socks That's if you're gonna wear one pair of socks to hide your dirt Then every, every, every other couple of days I mean, you wear the white sock You can wear them probably 1 or 2 days Until you try to walk aroun' an' they get caught in the carpet Then the dirt used up from the carpet gets up into your sock Then you get the little black spots on the side Or you can go and you get, you know, the different types There's other types of socks that's made for shoes But then they get funky and your feet start sweatin' and stuff Or you can get sweat socks that grab the sweat so they won't be funk And you get the powder into put it in so you won't get the funk or the funky feet Or that little feet and the stink is you have to be the funk Cuz when you die you go back to the funk And if you got sock funk you got to be funky cuz it stinkin Or something ran up in your ass and just died

I use deal tree for alot of my stuff, lots of stereo shit too. You mean, like the Best Buy auction site right? I've had some issues with blown speakers and whatnot but they seem to take good care of me. Sorry about your problems, you just gotta be diligent, like any site.. but it is better than ebay, that is for sure.
