    the smd is a great woofer too but its not build for strictly spl either you arent going to get anywhere near your goal with the equipment you mentioned much less the vehicle and even much less from a trunk

    I usually just listen to my system at a comfortable listening volume and only turn it up for comps or if an ass he driver cuts me off then I shake the mirrors off their car

    if you know nothing about them or the installation process i wouldnt recommend trying it is best to watch someone do it a couple times so you get an idea of the process before trying one yourself i am pretty good with cars and wiring and stuff like that and i tried to put in my viper 5901 in my 91 c1500 (which you probably couldnt find an easier vehicle to do the install on) and all of the wires are still under my dash in a rats nest

    charging 16 isnt that bad running a 16v system on the other hand (charging 18v) is hell for a cars elec system to the OP just run 12v and charge at 14 14v and 16v setups are mainly for serious competitors
