  1. Just a few things off the top of my head, i'm sure some pro installers out there have even more uses for it. 1. Signal Generator (this unit makes a true sine wave unlike some of the old units that made a stepped square wave) 2. Ported or bandpass box tuning - It will tell you exactly where your port is tuned 3. Measuring the T/S parameters of speakers (Fs, Qts, Vas, ect) can be measured and calculated with some knarly math. We will provide a spreadsheet or formulas to ease the pain. 4. Test passive crossovers 5. Find the Fs of any speaker (got some nice tweeters you want to bi-amp but not sure how low you can cross them? This tool will tell you) I'm sure there are other uses as well ahhh so i was very wrong i figured it was to measure the ever so dreaded "impedance rise" im very intrigued by number 2 though
  2. wait wait wait how hard does this thing push the speakers? because if it cant move a speaker to full xmax then it wont give an accurate reading... or am i misunderstanding what this does?
  3. im very interested in how it works. is it really as simple as i think it is? create signal at specified frequency, measure drop across the load at certain frequency?
  4. same as for the highs hurting you. let me introduce you to something called distortion..
  5. id love to see a completely clear one. i think that would be tight
  6. N8 the (sq fuuuu) he put up there was in regards to AQs new name. SoundQuebed

  9. believe these folk shit in your backseat 1. sounds like shit 2. does not get loud 3. makes the back glass want to implode and 4. just looks dumb in general
  10. this is a decent question and as always it may not be the same from one setup to the next BUT i would think the one getting rms would prove to be better than the one not getting rms one thing ive noticed is at rms or under subs can play a much wider range regardless of box because their limits are not being reached. once you get over the rms though you can watch your lows disappear
  11. yeah thats what i meant. my bad the loudest freq
  12. single 12 sealed in a 1 cube enclosure do a slow sweep on the tl highest freq is your resonant
  13. its all based on the car and the subs read a lot and you might pick up on the basic idea
  14. i didnt have problems until i hit .25 ohms lol couldnt get a burp off but let me tell you sundowns protections circuits are great im retarded and they havent blown yet. thats all i will say lol
