  1. If I purposely want to blow a sub by wiring to a strong amp, do I risk damaging the amp when the sub pops.

      I was told that the cause of my amp frying was due to running with a blown sub and not knowing. Take that for what it is. If you do it and it blows quick and you stop immediately, you may be fine...I wouldn't try it, but if you do, video it! Fuck it, stick it in a socket!

      I dont see how an amp would blow from one sub going out.Its got to be more to it than just the sub blowing. Hell I blew one of the PSI subs on my DC 9k and it protected. Turned it back on and slammed on the one sub all the way home.I bet my amp is still playing

      If an amp goes up in smoke due to you blowing a sub, then the manufacture needs to rethink their protection circuit
