Not that depressing. It ain't sunny year round but no long snows to deal with, winters don't freeze, summers seldom above 100. It's mild

If you don't mind rian go to WA. Been here for 21 years and that is my only complaint. Legal weed is a nice perk too. Altittude is alot worse in colorado though, I have family there that rant about how easy it is to run/jog here. Given I do live at sea level as well

As someone in Washington, I think I'd like Colorado more. Once the warm summer weather is gone, I'd like freezing weather and snow. All we get, though, is drizzle and grey skies. You get all four seasons in Colorado.
