    so to be clear, how much is the rise when playing music? Last competition i went to, they clamped my hifonics brz1200d and i got ~860wrms @2.8ohm after rise, playing 43hz tone. tone is the key word, when playing music the ohm load is constantly changing. but you can account for rise only on tones or a nice solid long note in a song that is constant. The rise is more of your box than the amp.

    If they are flared, they are more efficient than tubes, which are still more efficient than slot ports, 2 6s should be fine. Remember, there are rule of thumb for sq in of port but truly you need to base it off of cone area and displacement. I used 3 4in for 1 15 and it did great. I might go with 3 6s if you could make it work, but I think 2 6s will do.

    RCA's are tight I have a Power Acoustik ptid-8940nrbt. The sub level is at 10/15. I have the bass setting at 3 on the deck. the gain is at 3/4 and the bass knob never goes more than half way up. bass should be on zero, no bass boost on the amp. and did you set the gain by ear?

    the cabin pressure changes when doors and trucks/hatches get opened. Which can cause bottoming out and such. Maybe when you open the truck the subs are over excurting and they dont like it.

    I dont think it is that easy of a fix to get hundreds of subs out of the way. They probably did it the most efficient way possible. just be patient, the wait is basically over.

    2 decent sized batts, 250amp alt or so, big 3, dual 1/0s to the back. Should be good on that, but until its done you never know exactly.
