  1. thats a good point...i loved it as a kid and when i became a father, i loved it again because i got to see THEM have a great time. Ya its a bunch of bullshit prizes, the video games arent very good and the pizza is the worst......BUT, the kids have a great time and thats what its all about really. I loved there pizza. Covered the top with the parmesan til it was solid white. It was cheap pizza but as a youngin I didn't care. I did shatter my nose there once though when they had the wood basketball hoops, I tried to do a Michael Jordan. The next week, the rims were padded
  2. I have used aeros quite a bit, shoot for anywhere between 9-13 (8-12 is basically the same).
  3. x2, if your confused about doubling the rms, don't do it, you will most likely blow a sub. Just go with an AQ1200d
  4. I've talked to AQ before and they said the 2200 would fit nicely with the hdc3. If you get the alum it can take 2-3k.
  5. On topic, with all the doubt you seem to have, keep the monte nice and find another car to bass out.
  6. Have had level 4s for a while, they shouldn't be getting hot that easy. I pound on mine for 20min at a time and the sometimes get warm. Only time they have ever gotten hot is on burps, and still I couldn't smell anything. Gain too high probably
  7. 8 ga is cheap, so overkill in this case doesn't even really cost anymore.
  8. close enough. and what numbers did you get? 5.35 ohms 10.5v (battery) clamped 12.7 amps (i think, cant remember) 67.9v AC
  9. ok, i dmm the AC voltage, clamped the positives on the amp, measured DC voltage of the amp(which in theory is the battery voltage.)
  10. you need to measure the output voltage... how else can you calculate the output power? i did. did what? you've just shown that you measured the input voltage, you need to measure the output voltage. voltage x current = watts i didnt draw it on there.
  11. what is the formula to calculate watts? im just clarifying to make sure the one i have is right.
  12. you need to measure the output voltage... how else can you calculate the output power? i did.
  13. This is how i did it. Blue is bridge wire The red and black boxes on the bottom of the amp are the power and ground.
  14. what wires do you put the clamp on when you clamp strapped amps?
  15. Coors is the ish for beer. I prefer mixed fruity drinks...I know its feminine lmao Feels thats how i used to be too. im only 18 fyi, not a big drinker but i prefer little vodka with sprite and shiz like that, or crown and coke. I like the taste, i dont drink to get shmammered most of the time.
  16. x2, it get a lot of port area along with low tuning needs a big box. just messed around with a bunch of numbers, there is no way you will get enough room for that 18, especially with 27hz tuning. and i didnt factor bracing or sub displacement. You need more room. ( i kept port sq to 14 per foot.) with no displacements, it was ~5.4 with 35hz tuning fyi.
