  4. I liked when he said my lungs are on fire. I was like I hope it burns lol.
  5. Technically you don't need 13cubes for 15's. Buddy runs 4 15's in 6 cubes after displacements. it is a spl oriented setup but he could play music. Also the box I'm working on now should be about 5 after displacements for my 2 15's. I have basically the same truck. I know it can be done. Just have to test.
  6. How much power you putting to them? Also max dimensions to see if you can do 15's.
  7. To much yes I could see how that would hurt it. Start at 14 and drop to 7 if the amp didn't shut itself down before 7. But dropping a lot as long as its not below 11.5-12 I don't think it would "technically" lessen the life of an amp.
  8. It's caused when 2 different types of metal are in contact. I forgot what the process is called. But that's what ive been told.
  9. I like the install very clean. The car looks pretty good to. Doesn't look all ricer'd to hell. I've always loved pre-ludes for some odd reason to.
  10. Awesome subs. I personally have the xfl 15's and we burped them on 2 saz2000's at .5 and they were still asking for more. The owner of the shop I work at had 2 of the xfl 12's on 4k daily and they took it just fine. Now my other friend has 2 of the xfl 12's on 4k daily as well and he might upgrade power for them. Very strong subs. Also the comparison of them to the sa's. Sa has 2.5" coil, xfl has a 3" coil. Xfl's with the new basket design have A LOT of cooling. Plus they are rated higher. My over all opinion is great subs and built very well. If you have any more questions feel free to pm me.
  11. Nope no audio comp there this year. They tripled the price of the hall we had last year and we would have had to have almost 200+ plus to compete to even break even for what they were asking. A few of us from Top Notch Auto Works llc. Will be attending. Send me your number in a pm maybe we could meet up sometime and the show and do demo's in the parking lot lol.
  12. It was fun sitting. In there if your mouth is fully closed no matter how hard you try your teeth chatter. Also your vision goes very blurry. But yes as Matt said we have a lot of work to do. We might be pulling most of the front baffle. Adding 2x4's outside and inside. Also will be redoing the windshield. Laying laminate on all flat surfaces. Building out the dash. Also painting it. Not sure what color but we have some house of flake to mix in with whatever we choose.
  13. Me. iH8PunkRok, Jeyrapboy are in Louisville ky, which is only like 10 minutes away.
