  1. that's the only motor I can think of that would need an adapter ring for a 12" sub. This should be nasty regardless.
  2. i dont have enough width for four wide in a straight line so it will have to be staggered some. will this cause loading issues for the subs? **wrong section fail. mod please move to enclosure section.
  3. i did a 15 l7 in a 6 cube ported box on 1500 rms and it ran like a champ. with the limitation you have on volume id do a 3.5 cube sealed box. just my .02 though. the 15 l7 will be loud in a sealed box too.
  4. I just built a box for my level 4 15 at 3.4 cubes with ~54 sq in port
  5. just tore apart a 12 w7! pics up soon

  6. so like 12 seconds? not trying to hate but whats so impressive about that? idk what they are like stock though, im assuming youve done some mods
  7. If you wanted to be a badass you could a box like the jl stealthbox for the new tahoes/yukons. Basically it's two 10s over the rear drivers side wheel well. The shop i work for did a very similar enclosure. Lots of money/fiberglass depending which route you take
  8. Don't wire only one coil. I'd run it at 4 ohms for a while just to break it in. Then once you upgrade amps you'll be good for full power
  9. Audioque 1200d does 1200 rms at 1 ohm. I'd run a 100-120 amp anl fuse with true 4 gauge wire. As far as a battery I would do the big 3 with 0 gauge wire and see how your voltage holds up
  10. I use hifisoundconnection.com for dash kits and harnesses. I've never had any issues ordering from them
  11. i was wondering where you planned on putting the 2 15s lol. looks good so far man
  12. Do you know what he's switching to? check the build log. hes got all soundigital amps now. crazy power going in it now.
  13. Hell I ran my level 4 15 on 2k for a week no problems
  14. build looks great man. the level 4 is one of my favorite woofers.
  15. Just turned 21, first night at the club was a success. I dont remember shit hahaha

  16. what are you doing about wiring the second alt in? is it just as simple as tapping into the matching wires on the stock alternator?
  17. okay so heres the pics you emailed my. it looks like a good kit. if i get this ill prolly just keep my d6500 on the passenger side and put the overflow and washer fluid in the stock batt location.
  18. on their website they say running a single aq2200 to a pair of hdc's is good for daily but then they continue to say on per or even two per lol id start with one then maybe get another down the road
  19. this year ive had a blackberry, android and iphone. personally the iphone was the simplest to use. granted these were all older phones with that os but still the same format. i have a blackberry curve8900, htc g1, and iphone 2g. granted i did put 2.2 on the g1 and it didnt seem to like that, it was always slow running that. once i put it back to 1.6 it was fine but lacked the features of 2.2. my iphone is unlocked for tmobile running 3.1.2 and runs like a champ. simple to use and not as bulky as the other two phones. im not hyped about cell phones and all the different features they offer. i just look for whats simplest to use with the options ill use. for some people a basic cell phone with texting is perfect. others like to have the apps and all that jazz. android vs iphone will always exist, its like pepsi vs coke. the difference isnt much but people swear by them
  20. k so he just wants the clutch bypassed so that he doesnt have to push the pedal in to start the car. were not doing a remote start. i have it bypassed in my explorer for the remote start and he just thinks its cool. so i put in a relay connecting the two wires, heres how the relay is hooked up: 85-starter, 86-ground, 87-clutch wire 1, 30-clutch wire 2. the bypass works but is still throwing the code he mentioned. a code reader deletes the code but then it just comes back. this is not for a video bypass, he has a kenwood ddx8019 green wire goes to ground
  21. would these by chance work for the 12" cvr motor or 12" l7 motor? i sent you dimensions a while ago. i should have the pm somewhere. id love to have you build me another woofer
  22. I added a hi/lo adapter aka a line output converter tagged to the rear speakers. And built a custom box for a single downfire ten that fit between the center console and back seat. Turned out decent and didn't sound bad
  23. im about to wrap up p90x in a couple weeks and insanity is my next endeavor. i love doing workouts like these compared to just going to a gym and throwing around weights. i played football in high school and we had a well developed workout plan, so ive got plenty experience in a weight room. im stoked to try this so let me know how it works out for you.
