    Prior cases are inadmissible in court in front of a jury. the only thing it could affect if sentencing. Not whether is is found guilty or not guilty.

    Also dont be afraid to check out the for sale section for some good deals on some used equipment or possibly bnib equipment that people are selling and a good discount.

    This or obsidian audio are great choices and I will recommend them in a second. Another option to check out is a dc audio lvl 3. Not sure what they are going for these days but I imagine they are in your price range.

    If you are trying to save money and dont care about appearance, I would recommend duct tape. You get the most bang for your buck. It's like the peal and seal for strapping amps so you may get flamed if you go this route.
