    Happened to me when installing a double din in a 2011 superduty, there was a fuse blown and a relay fried, after we changed out for new ones, it worked fine.

    i would run 1 2700 up front, and 3 3100ds in the rear.

    With another d3100 you might sit in the high 12v's. I dont know though, derricks drops pretty low after playing for a long time.

    the cadence at audiosavings is pretty decent wire, bigger and more round than the welding wire, bro has the black welding wire, and he bought the 1/0 cadence for a install he is gonna do for a friend it is bigger in size, but less strands and more flex able.

    ive read from many people to do a 1:1 ratio, but every time i have tryed the 2:1 they either peak to low or peak to high. So i would do a 1:1 so it has a nice bandwidth, and tune it from 45-50. From my experience, i have the exact same sub sitting in the corner of my room in a 1.5 cube box tuned to 33 hz and it still peaks high and doesnt really like the lows, gets warm on 200 rms. I would tune it in the high 40's which will still have a lot of lowend, prob more than you have now.

    I would just go with the 1:1 ratio, 2cubes seal, 2 cubes ported tuned to 45hz and have a nice broad flat response. But being in a small truck, will still have pretty decent highs.

    For a single 12, i would do a higher tuning, such as 48hz or so, because of the big box it will already want to peak low, because the 4 cubes is on the big side.

    my first amp i actually bought a week ago is a pyramid pba2300, 600 watt 2 channel amp made in 1998. Im using this thing right now lol, love it for a little amp.

    Those subs will handle the power nicely at .5ohm, xxx's are underrated like all re subs. As long as you set the gain right and not clipping you should be fine running them at .5ohm.
