  1. exactly that! without a termlab you are completly blind
  2. what did you score at the show? already saw that video, looks weak
  3. that topic is definitely fun, i´m considering updating it a little bit more very soon, even gonna try an octoport box vs aeroports box, we´ll see , glad it´s helpful for you guys
  4. like the tittle says, has to be the USB model, no matter if it´s a single sensor or a dual sensor, paypal account ready to buy this thing, need this ASAP, thanks guys!!
  5. you should post a few pics of the stripper pole and roof progress
  6. i prefer to be rich rather than working assambling amplifiers lol
  7. Very nice video indeed, i wonder what´s the name of the manufacturer lol, they surely build amplifiers for tons of companies hehe
  8. niceeeee, gotta love loud explorers, sadly mine isn´t loud at all lol, definitely waiting for the buildlog, specially on the stripper pole, got any pics in the meantime??? nicee vid bro
  9. depends entirely on the car, what subs? what power?what car? current box specs and pics?
  10. 148-150 @ meca with 2000 watts ain´t easy at all, what was your peak? box specs?
  11. +160 dbs is way too fun lol, pipo sanchez truck was my first and only 163 dbs demo so far, loudest i´ve built it´s 155.7 dbs right here @ panama and i thought it was LOUD haha
  12. If i buy a pair of subs, would you come to Panama and build me the box??? trolling mode: off
  13. yeah man, i´ve been into car audio for about 12 years and i honestly feel that i learn something new everyday, for an example you ca take my mechman 270A alternator, i was having some major voltage drops until you told me to add another run from alt case to battery negative, i never thought that would be such a gain lol, but anyways, thanks a lot for the inputs!!
  14. hehe ok, was just a thought that crossed mi mind lol, thanks for the inputs
  15. That´s exactly my thoughts!!! Using this same topic i do have a question for you, i have 2 runs of positive and negative wires, what about if i use one positive from my mechman alt to the primary battery and use the other one from the alt directly to the amplifier? just a dumb question lol
  16. did you wet sand and buff like a car or just buff the paint wet sand and buff, all the things so the paint ended up just like a car´s paintjob, didn´t do it myself tho, we took the box to a friend´s shop and he made the job for free
  17. ya inside makes sense basically same principles as resining the inside and sanding it down to make it smooth.. Yes sir, just easier and faster, it´s more expensive tho
  18. We gained 0.5 dbs by painting the box inside, but i´m talking with a lot of "base" and wax, box ended up been smooth as hell on the inside, just like a car, we haven´t painted it on the outside, gonna do it very soon an see if we gain some more
  19. I did test that on my SPL gains topic, of course, every scenario is different, but i did gained 0.4 dbs by taking out the carpet from a box, you can´t feel the difference on your ears tho...
  20. Congrats, nice score on such small power and a single 15" below 45 hz , well done
  21. DD´s don´t need low tuning at all, our nissan almera´s box is tuned to 39 hz and goes down to 27 hz without any problems, my 1510´s box tuned to 39 hz could do hairtricks @ 30 hz, etc etc , but anyways, if you want a 35 hz tuning so badly then yes, add some lenght i guess...
  22. Blazers are loud with port back or port side, 25" height it´s ridiculous lol I would do: 20" H x 38"W x 28"D Port: 36.5"W x 3.25"H x 20"D That would give you about 8.4 c/f after displacement and 35 hz tuning with 118SQ of port, that box would do some serious business with those 4 subs
  23. hehe not that much of experience, i always learn something new everyday, BUT, i´ve tested DD subs a few times already, and, the 512 loves something around 2 cubic feet, the 1512 loves something around 2.3 cubic feet, and from there, big ass boxes FTW lol , my 2512´s had 2.8 cubic feet per sub and man that was LOUD, i´ve seen people using 3.5 cubic feet for a 9512 on a daily box, that´s awesome lol
  24. 2.5 cubic feet it´s too big for a 512, i would use 2.1 - 2.2 c/f per sub
  25. haghahahaha that´s going to my signature!!!
