If you set your gain correctly with an o-scope, it sounds like you won't need the bass boost. Cuz you aren't using the full potential of the amp. Set your gain right then if you need it, turn up the boost, but from the sound of it you won't.

I probably isn't recognizing hour iPod, mine does the thing, I just hooked it up to the AUX and it works fine. But if u want to use the hu controls put your music in a USB drive I did that too

Just put a fuse on it and you'll be fine, the V-Drive alpine hu require that you do it.

The woofers are great the tweets are a bit harsh even on the -3db on the crossover. The amps are hit or miss. Still a new company maybe still working out the kinks but I do still like the mids.

First amp was the red 4 ch Sony Xplod with the parametric eq in the middle of the amp. I loved that thing.

Maybe your amp isn't 1 ohm stable, wire it to 4 ohm and see if it still clips

You are gonna make that amp unhappy. It will over heat and clip. It is 2 ohm stable for a reason. You want more power get a bigger amp or add another 2500.1

Hey, I'm looking to upgrade my electrical. I want to replace my under hood batt and add one in the trunk. I have a 2002 Mazda millenia 2.5, I'm running an Alphasonik Pma800d 1640rms at 1ohm and a Crescendo 1000c 1000watts rms at 14.4. According to your site I can use 2 D975's. Should I go that route or get one big batt. P.s. I think my alt is 120amps. Also price of batts, thanks

Look at RE Audio 6.5c's 50 watt rms. Or Crescendo ccx's 100 rms. Both about the same price 100 bucks and they are components.

Ok so I think it would be better to get batts then an alt when I upgrade to the bigger amps.

I have a 2002 Mazda Millenia with the 2.5 motor. I'm looking to beef up my electrical. So the question is which way should I go h/o alt or batts. Stock alt is 120 amps I think. I have the big 3 done with 1/0. Going to pull the 4 gauge and through in 1/0. I have a Alphasonik pmd 800a at 2ohms should be 1640 but volts drop when cranked and a Kicker 350.4 which is soon going to be replaced by a Crescendo 1000.4. Which would work best?

Personally I don't like using the harness from the car I always run a little lower gauge wire to power and ground especially. Eliminates any wiring issues with the factory harness.
