id say 2 ddz 12's > 1 dd95 18 or 2 fi n3 12's > 1 n2 18" (n3 to n2 as alot more motor lol) or something like that lol EDIT: so if we take say 2 low end 12's rated at say 500rms each, put 1k to them, vs a single 18 on 1k and put 1k to it, the 12's haveing say 20% more motor frouce as apposed to the 18 20% more cone area (am i doing math right? LOL fuck this shit..) who is louder lol

they are awsome, even tho i only got use a 15" recone for my soundstream xxx. they are beasts. i put 1 coil (didn't wanna go half ohm on music at 18v) and would get it to about 70% in a box way to small and tuned very very high. probably seeing 6k for over 45minutes at a time. altho i blew a coil when i burped it but that was my fault. coil rub..

i got a huge increase in SQ when i upgraded. and nearly 1.5db louder.

4" coil, 8" sub don't think it would work well..
