Eric is leaving Mechman!

Comming back to carmel area? Im sure u will be missed around here always answering my questions thanks man! -
My point is the more work u put in the better having just painted my mustang and having wet sanded with 3000 grit tyvec pad is the ultimate option if you have 2 hrs for every square foot of car Then you still have to buff throug cleaner/polish wax, then I do yellow wax, then wax, wash it off then clay bar This will remove the swirls like monte said depending on how bad, u could sand with 2000 or 2500 and spray a light clear ontop again I would reccomend u get a orbital buffer for $20 and go at it with some good compound don't push hard or ull increase the swirls

Don't use the speed glase. The dual action cleaner polish is the most agressive and works the best of swirls if you ask me Buff on/ in for 20 30 min each pannel then work ur way around the car Switch to a wool pad and buff all that shit off for another 20 min per pannel Works wonders what I've been doing on my 65 mustang I just painted I've used basically everything meguires makes I also love their clay bar! !!!!!!! It works wonders anlong with they yellow wax

Please don't move ur belts forward! That's all bad typically there is a threaded bolt welded to the thicker sheetmetal where the seatbolts get their bracing from, this is much thicker to start than the center of ur floorpan and that's before the bolt is welded in And most of the bolts on fords are strech style, ment to go in once and not be reused!, and typicallly they are torqued in pretty good I would try notching the baffle first but if you must move the belt forward id suggest u weld some metal underneith to support ur belt then drill through that and put a hardened steel bolt!

LED HELP!
CortezDTV replied to yankees14011's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
Look up color changing led strips Or the music controler Anyother led option basically sucks Sodering leds to resistors is the lamest thing you can do.... just buy the 12v kits! I I talk from experience the tlines I built, the first one had massive led problems I've had 7 out of the 20 or so on there go out multiple times -

I had to take some alpha damp off in my trunk so I could weld...... wow that took us longer than anything else.... I was sitting there pulling as hard as I could in a dealift standing in my trunk..... well we both were must of looked funny as hell took prolly 20 min each sheet, and I was lucky they were the side peices so they weren't stuck as good as the rest.... Let's just say I refuse to take any more off haha

dc 5k at .5ohm on 16v
CortezDTV replied to 03TahoeXXX's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Higher voltage equals greater efficiency easier on ur amps to run higher but sometimes the cars wont like it my car hated charging at 18v it would randomly turn everything off and back on but god damn having my windows finally go up fast sure was nice!
