    from how he worded it its solid on 33 but not higher yeah but if it was solid at 33, 34, 35, etc then 33 is the distortion point

    yup what kranny said but quick question... can your mids and highs even handle that volume? plus you can always check by plugging the rca into the dd-1 since you dont have a mids and high amp to find out what volume your head unit distorts at when using a 1000 hz tone i think

    i dont even know how much power your running and if you even need 0 gauge. but that doesnt mean 0 gauge isnt good. its always better to have overkill when it comes to your electrical. so yeah i would say its important. yeah it sucks, but you need to have very good grounds. no point in trying to do something if your not going to do it right

    yeah pretty sure thats fine. is that both volumes for your sub amp and mids and high amp

    you need pos on alt to pos to battery. neg from batt to frame or strut tower. then another neg from batt to engine. and if you like overkill. another neg to your alt bracket

    well no your subs being able to handle more power isnt whats causing the amp to shut off. its either pulling too much current through clipping, wired incorrectly or shitty ground sucks im at work and cant really focus to help you more in depth lol

    sooo knowing your voltage drop is pretty important lol so you should check. should have the big 3 done also depending on how the gain was set, you could be clipping and pulling too much power also going to check your connections. hows your ground? to the frame. to the strut tower? paint sanded kind of a lot of things as to why your amp is going to protect
