    Oil change today. Going to try the thickest oil I can for the temp -- 10w-40 vs. the 5w-30 I've been using. Hopefully it will quiet down the subaru piston slap a bit

      Factory service schedule is every 7.5k/6 months. I change it every 6k/6 months simply because it's easier to keep track of

      Ehhh I'm not too sure about additives. It's always a give/take it seems like with them. If it quiets the piston slap, what will it take away?
