My vw did this as well.

I think it's funny hearing people with music playing from their bikes. I have yet to hear one that is audible. Sounds like white noise to me or a megaphone intercom thing.

I'm glad I found this place and some members here before I did a system. Picked up a DD512, and a set of pb comps, and a set of pb coax's all for $200 locally from a member here.

How does bestbuy have that display wall powering the subs? I call it the mystery wall. I have an AQ750 laying around I'd like to hook up to my SA12 and Pioneer 821 receiver.

I'm looking at buying a new car and see a lot of them have aftermarket stereos. You know, just the cheap entry level ones in decent cars. I fell as if they cheap out so much on a headunit, they may even cheap out on buying an adapter. So I have a question to installers or people who bought a new to you car. Is it pretty common that people skip the adapter and just hard wire their headunit? My last car was hard wired from previous owner, I couldn't solder the wires on since they were really short and way back in the slot. I was always paranoid that the car would catch on fire. I just don't want to deal with that again. Also, where is the best place to get a wire harness?

VVX has or had a good deal for two 12's in a box for $379? shipped. I wonder if they do 15's now since I haven't been on caco in a while.

I bought some Morel Maximo 6's and love them. The mid range is there and the bass out of them is great as well. The tweeters don't have a flush mount, or a 0-3db level control. However they didn't seem too loud or too low for me. They go for $140. You should take a listen to them first since everyone has a different ear to sound.

Look into Hybrid Audio, Morel, Rainbow, Hertz for some great sounding speakers. I'm sure those will be better then the JL's

Whatever you do stay away from Razer. They have quality issues with all their products. Look into other brands such as Mionix, Ducky, Das, Deck, for keyboards. Mechanical keyboards are great for games and typing depending on what mx cherry color switch you get.

Story telling is rare today. Jarren Benton is pretty good too.

Need to go bigger? That's huge as it is. A nice drop would make it look tons better. Just my two cents.

That blows. I just threw in some hot glue into the hold part and inserted the black earbud and so far so good. I was thinking about grabbing their comp set for the next car but I'll pass now. Now that's ridiculous.

Ok so I just bought these less then a week ago. Very minimal usage as I only went to the store twice and took them with me and used them for short periods of times in the house while I made something to eat. Anyway this is hands down the fastest anything has ever broke on me. Never was a fan of ear buds to begin with but I seen these were bullet style and went into my the ear. First time I've seen such a thing and it's by AQ. The company of my AQ750 which is the best $200 I've spent for the car. I had to give these a shot. They looked cool and would be better then the samsung ear buds the ipod thing came with. I'm a bit pissed as I spent $25 for these to just break in 4 days. The funny part is... The gold cup that holds the black plastic ear bud has screw teeth to screw the black piece of. Ironically the black plastic male part doesn't have screw teeth on it. It just slides in LOL! After looking closely I don't see any kind of lump for it to snap together. Just a solid flush fit. I don't understand why the gold piece has screw teeth though and the black part doesn't. This is my rant of the week. Carry on.

I was looking at these the other day. Sure in the hell is cheaper then the single din flip out they have. Looking for a new car anyway so this will come in handy.

MOAR FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MOARRRRRRRRRRRRR Excellent review. Maybe a part two for testing the product in real world situations. Clamping, and other tests I suppose.

I'm thinking about going with the SKAR deal with the two 12's in a box to replace this Sundown SA12 which is fine. Then buy a bigger amp in a few more weeks. I wonder if this is a good idea.
