  1. Some sort of Mlv to cut down road noise if you want to do that Secondskin damp, damp pro if you can afford it Lots of good info http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/
  2. In the sundown yardsale they had 2 of the team motors for sale....guy on caco bought them and is building them up Big for sure
  3. The 2 alts running the 16v with a stock for the rest is the way to do it, no stepdown modules to mess with. Idk I always hear a lot more problems with 16v vs 12v setups. Either way would work and be good really
  4. I've never seen or heard of fakes Look like the older model to me, which are the same as the new just different stickers and slightly smaller posts
  5. The one I got from them was nice, been a few years ago though
  6. belt wont really slip at freeway speeds....shouldn't be charging that low, probably an alternator problem especially since you're saying the belt was tight
  7. depends on what you think pretty loud is I had my sa10's tuned to 32hz and they played anything....no reason to tune that low really
  8. It does....not sure really, idk what kind of movement they have but its a lot lol 4" is max? And that's internal or external 4"
  9. To see if anything is in front of the bpillar, for certain classes in competing. Take a string and string it across from one side of the car to the other on the bpillars....start at bottom or top and slide it up and down to see if it hits anything
  10. Do what I said.....play it out of box and se if it rubs. If it does while playing, either live with it or see about the warranty
  11. Some highs amp don't like 16+v I don't see any cons to it 2 alts like you're doing is the optimum way to do it
  12. If it doesn't do it when playing, its fine. Play the sub free air and see what it does
  13. Buddy went from a warhorse to a 9k and never looked back
  14. straight from page 8 2 Layers of 3/4" and 2 Layers of 1". Then a 2x4 frame around everything. This will help separate the rear cone of the woofer as well as add rigidity. Plus it will give me a way to fasten my baffle to the rest of the wall.
  15. Just the 5 minute epoxy for plastics? Yeah I didn't see it physically leaking but knew it did. They were in a wooden box and when I pulled them there was a black stain under it and like dried black stuff Think I drilled into it from underneath, fail Forgot exactly what xs said but just told me to seal it up and run it
