Also what kind of auto? -
Looks really good Steve! Tuned in for results! Oh and one more thing: Where can someone get chop mat like that? I need a big roll like that. I noticed that you always seem to use it, it almost looks like a mix between mat and cloth? Looks easier to use than regular old mat. Anyway, thanks, and good luck!

Thanks N8, I believe your right Sorry guys, I didn't mean to mislead anyone. They are not finished, actually I just started back on them yesterday. It will take me at least 2 weeks to finish them. I guess I was just getting a heads up on where to send them. Yeah, I am about 2 hours from Columbus, and about 3 hours from Cincinnati. If I could find someone close, then sure I would have them do it! I'm just prepared to ship them wherever is necessary to make sure they are right.

So I'm starting back up where I left off on my door panels this week, and I have come to the conclusion that I don't wanna waste my time or money attempting to wrap them myself. So where is the best place to send them? These have got to come out perfect, and now is not the time for me to learn. So I think I'll just leave it to the pros. Anyway, I just need to know who to get a hold of. Thanks for your time!

Looks awesome Steve! Good luck, hope it turns out well! The only part I'm not understanding is what makes it considered a "Clamshell"? Is it the way the subs are facing one another? And if so, then then what makes it "isobaric"? The space in between each sub? I remember seeing these style setups in the 90's, but I had no idea what they were, or how they worked. Super cool idea, whether or not you keep it! Now I bet we will be seeing several others try it since you did....

Making Bus Bars - Finished!
Purplehaze replied to Purplehaze's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Thanks man, I appreciate the advice! I am definitely gonna re-do the bus bars, I just went ahead and made these two for the time being, and to get some practice. I will at least use 1/2" x 1-1/2" alum. And I was wondering which bolts were best to use, I'll pick up some brass stuff soon too! Thanks again for the help! Thanks man, will do! -

Here are some pics of the finished product. I'm happy with the way they turned out. Thanks for all your help guys! -
HO Alt Batteries You can use as many batteries as you like, you will just have to charge them once in a while. The more batteries, the more often you will have to charge. But I don't think having more batteries will hurt your electrical system, or your alt. It just simply will not be able to keep them fully charged. Also, with just the two Kicker amps you listed, just do the big 3, and do it way better than you have to. That should be enough, those amps don't draw a lot of power. I really liked my ZX1000.1, they are really efficient, and sound clean as hell! But yeah you should be fine with just the big 3 done properly.
