    I know what you're talking about... aftermarket parts that look stock. I saw one for my mom's corolla that was a GPS upgrade. I do not know if anything of them are good though, sorry OP

    unrelated but related at the same time. We've got an AR-15 and I love that gun, we go out to our lake where we have a bunch of painted gongs at various distances and shoot out over the lake.

    you're crazy genius if you can pull this off, the stock alt won't get nearly that high unless you get a high output alt (with voltage adjuster) to adjust the voltage that it sits at. someone correct me if I'm wrong

    you brought this one out the the depths lol, I don't think I have seen this thread. It's a pretty cool piece of machinery though, looks expensive.

    CA glue for sure, I did my first recone with CA glue and the next with goop, but the CA is more brittle and works better IMO

    I like that a lot!!! the internal voltage regulator isn't as important to me as just keeping a strong electrical for my amp. I'll think about it, $400 total to get my electrical strong is a little steep for me. I'll let you know if anything happens though

    still doesn't completely answer my question lol. can they recase for my vehicle? how much for a recase? and does it have an internal adjustable voltage regulator so that it will sit a higher and more steady voltage?Edit: sorry if I sound pushy, I just don't want to buy something before knowing that it is 100% what I'm looking for

    recones usually aren't cheap. Take his money for the recone, and buy a new sub and tell him that they are kicker lol

    what, the ones that caught fire? z v3 15's ...a bit too much sealed side airspace for them, especially inverted + too much power + T.I.'s let my beat pound - leads caught fire. Overall just too much fun was being had that day, I think we were demoing pretty much nonstop for 4-5 hours up to that point yup yup yup, that song would do it that's pretty insane, my demo period is probably 10 minutes until I can get a hold of a H/O alt

      Glue it back on! It's easier and cheaper to fix than a blown sub!

      Or screw it, make some sort of decal, put that on there and got your own custom sub. "What brand is that?" "You ain't ever heard of it, don't worry about it"

      I fixed it with a little "shoe goo". this time I made sure to sand down my gluing surface and now it's alive and kicking. added felt to the back of the cone too to prevent tinsel slap

    This is what I came up with. It's not enough volume, not bracing, and max dimensions. If anyone else has suggestions then post. I think you should bump it down to 2 15's

    just the same port tuned to 35hz its for my 2 18s and what u mean with 45s?? 45 degree angles in the box for bracingalso, did you want a double baffle? Edit: PM me and I'll try to help

    I've heard great things on the Hertz speakers, I know they might be out of your budget though, but for just starting a system I like to start out small and slowly build up from there.

    I know you don't want to cut into that beautiful car.... you have pics of it BTW? you could do 5.25's in the back with an adapter and you MIGHT be able to do 6.5's depending on how much space you have to work with in the rear deck without any cutting. what were the speakers rated at again?

    I usually expect more, become upset, and plan to upgrade. Then I sell my stuff before buying more and I get upset again because I don't have bass for a month or so. And I'll let you know what the next step is when it's done

    you might be able to get away with DC lvl 3 15's or DC lvl 4 15's

    Looks nice, I don't think I missed it, but did it have a high pass filter? I would personally look for a HU that has high pass filter settings
