LoL "only 2 hours away", Id be like "Fuck, its 2hrs away!"
-
I go to college 6 hours away from home so long trips are NBD anymore. It doesn't fit but his great customer service is really showing.

Sweet, hey maybe we can test it at the show sunday. My friend Jarred (SCS_Audio) has a Fluke DC clamp meter
-
there we go basshead. I mean Mike will clamp it too before sending it but it would be cool to find out what it's doing.

Well if you're at work get some angry birds or something on your phone and make a good time out of it.
-
by epic I mean that in a good way lol. LOL @ DJ, I was able to work in I think 10 games of bejeweled into my bathroom break lol
-
"Amazing Alex" great time killer!
-
ruh roh, looks like my sub is currently SVC until I can get the lead soldered back on

Ahh gotcha. Those are tough. I dont solder them.
Try these. Much easier. Just make sure you get heat shrink to put over the connection.
-
thanks for that! I'm sure I can get a hold of those materials. do you suggest soldering AND crimping or just soldering?
-
I would just crimp.
-
rear speakers are going.... should I hook them up to amp and play full tilt?

Give them to me!!!
-
I think I'll do it, and JR, they're trash now unless it turns out that there is just a loose connection. Otherwise I wouldn't sell them to anyone because of the condition they are in
-
Vid it.
-
aparently SMD or some of my other forums have brought down my work computer twice so I don't know what to do during my breaks anymore

I'm not loud yet, but I still demo for other people. I have to say my favorite part is when they ask "do you have 2 10s?" and they are surprised then I say it's a single 12.

I don't care what anyone thinks, but I'll be plastidipping my wheels and spoiler tomorrow as well as adding some eyelids to my Zx2
-
I'm cursed with car audio. My dust cap blew of due to paint on the gluing surface :/
-
Glue it back on! It's easier and cheaper to fix than a blown sub!
-
Or screw it, make some sort of decal, put that on there and got your own custom sub. "What brand is that?" "You ain't ever heard of it, don't worry about it"
-
I fixed it with a little "shoe goo". this time I made sure to sand down my gluing surface and now it's alive and kicking. added felt to the back of the cone too to prevent tinsel slap
-
-
Well it looks like I might be doing a recone on my new sub :/
-
Just got back from building my box and force fitting it into my trunk
-
Being bass-less is no fun, I might have to dig my Bazooka Tube out of the trash for some temporary bass
