  1. You never know with TOTAL interactive products ... just might happen ... In my neighborhood ... the average internet customer is getting 28 to 35 megs downloads with 2 to 5 megs up ... (no need for the specific term corrections, you all know what I mean) ... and getting rid of analog programming, makes ALOT more room for digital programming and forward / return interaction ... upgrades like this cost money ... ALOT of it ... So, to fit the customers demands like this, System upgrades happen all the time ... hence most of the reasons why customer's bills go up ... people demand more services ... Only one way to get the systems there ... UPGRADE !!!
  2. What 8" component set did you have in mind cable??? I think you know the answer I'm going to give on this one Sir ... lol... Randal.. I def love the look and specs of Blues Audio... but it's too rich for me... Thanks bro ... but honnestly, I do not have any more money invested in my components than I do with my sub / electrical setups ... I divided my hard earned cash evenly ... and my system is still under $ 4000.00 ... Very cheap for Sound Quality competition (Super Modified Classes) ... but i'm hanging in there with the big dogs ...
  3. What 8" component set did you have in mind cable??? I think you know the answer I'm going to give on this one Sir ...
  4. I don't understand this ... Why spend SOO much on the sub stage and go so cheap on the high end ??? 4 15s on 12k (according to you sig) ... really bro ?? Why not buy a bad ass single set of components and get the job done ... instead of going multiple sets and having to spend damn near as much money to fabricate the vehicles interior ?? a pair of good tweeters on the a-pillars and a pair of 8s in the doors (passive 8 component set) would be my suggestion on a real strong 2 channel amp ... just a suggestion bro ... Thanks ... Randal ...
  5. I would deaden the doors first ... then reinstall the drivers (or new drivers) ... then install the tweeters high up on the A-pillars (eye level) ... use external cups to set up for proper listening for stage and image ... This is what I would do First before any major modification is done ... you might like the outcome ... the last pages of my build log shows my door installations ... please check it out ... click the link on my Signature ... thanks, Randal ...
  6. I would rather have my tweeters in the a-pillars to enhance stage and image ... height, width, center, and left and right separation will already be accomplished with installation alone ... just my suggestion here ..
  7. Best would be to run a 4 channel and a 2 channel amp ... split your power turn on wire just behind the head unit and run one lead to a switch, then to your 2 channel amp ... just a suggestion, hope this helps ...
  8. sounds like a very cool setup !!! please post pics ASSP ...
  9. WOW !!! That makes me hungry ...
  10. I'm on vacation this comming up week (finally, I needed a break from Comcast ...) Going to go searching local areas for me a truck ...
  11. Thank you sir ... I will def. keep this in mind ... I am searching local for the most origional truck I can find ... for now ... I want something older, big bodied style street machine ... My dad has restored antique cars and trucks all my life ... and I REALLY miss having one ... I'm really liking the looks of the 62 model Chevy ... Grill differences, dash setup (with a stock place for a center channel), and kick pannels that look like I can install a pair of 8s for subwoofers ... and after looking at a few, I do not really care if its a long or short wheel base (they both make mean looking street machine to me) ... But it has got to be a fleetside bed !!!
