  1. The forum meta is to charge for everything, apperently.. Free forum users only get X amount of characters and 3 lines (whichever is shorter), low tier paying members can have a small image and the previous, while mid tier members can have same image and links, and top tier members are allowed a larger image more characters and links.

yea. just something I noticed on a few other sites lol

  2. Dont think it has anything to do with the tantric, he wants to build a custom 24inch sub.
  3. how much you want to spend on a motor?? lol
  4. Still parts, and they wont do it. Others have tried before. So you would have to buy used.
  5. DC wont sell you softparts unless its a pre-built recone. Most companies wont for that matter. A couple companies will sell parts to a select few people though.
  6. swore I was already following the page, am now.
  7. The list is not 100% up to date. If prices have not changed the price for a X8 drop-in recone is $60.00 (that is for dual 2ohm or dual 4ohm coils). If you do not want to clean your current basket and would rather buy a new one add an additional $15.00 The price does not include S&H, which will be also added to the total. You can email Bryan at [email protected] to order a recone. Please include the following information: 1) What you are ordering -- Model, Coil Configuration, Etc. 2) If you already have a basket or not; please check below for any special notes. 3) If you need ANY custom options please specify up front. 4) !!! YOUR ADDRESS AND NAME !!! 5) A picture of what you have goes a long way to be SURE we are talking about the same thing. 6) When you send payment include ALL details of your drop-in on the notes(model, size, coil configuration, options, etc)
  8. and hopefully no boom goes the dynamite. lol

  9. Since they are on the signal input (rca) and not the speakers themselves which get disconnected during tuning you should remove them. This way a full pass signal is allowed through. The directions say to have eq's set to flat and crossovers set open or full pass.
  10. That crybaby continued to cry in his build log, and was saying how he will no longer use the site and how he lost respect and blah blah blah. So I locked it.
  11. well damn, you got that much! I shouldnt have passed it along to the second person that liked his post. jk. I wouldnt feel right winning since im an admin//mod.
  12. I would assume that since so many thousands have already sold that things like the patents, the tooling for the injection molding dies, the tooling for the circuit boards which all cost thousands to 10s of thousands each have had the majority if not all costs covered.
  13. Hard to tell, is the whole "rope" piece sticky? I cant really tell from the pictures, but Im assuming the paper layer is just to prevent itself from sticking to itself while coiled. Ive been looking for something similar for when I crack off the OEM headlight lenses after baking them in the oven for doing projector retrofits.
  14. So thats who stole my dyno, my batteries, and my intelli chargers! Shame on you SonicElectronix!! I will be sending a pre-paid box for you to ship the amp dyno back to its rightful owner, you can keep the rest. Thank you!
  15. Id probably say someone around 1.75-2.25 ish cubed per 12 inch woofer (after port/woofer/bracing displacements). They subs were never released and I dont think they ever really came up with box suggestions for them. If you could get a hold of the thiele small parameters of the woofer it would be a little easier figuring out a decent sized box. Essentially they are a SA sub, with more beef in every aspect, so going a little larger then recommended for the SA line would probably do just fine. Maybe even 2.5 cubed per woofer depending on how much power the woofer is going to get.
  16. Odd never got any notifications to a new reply on this thread. Your name is now change
  17. no problem. all you would of had to do is save a pic or two from the auction, and then post it here. or even just link the pic from there to here like so there is no way of really knowing what auction they are coming from so you would be in the safe.
  18. Im sure someone would of replied, however in your first post you never posted a link, or even a picture, so there is no real way to tell us what you are looking at. Yes thats an ultra. The ultras have a taller surround, yellow spiders, and the spiders are bolted down. The difference between a regular SA series and a Ultra are drastically apart, and would not run both of them together at the same time in the same box. The ultra have 33% more linear x-max, 20% higher motor force, a 25% higher thermal rating, around 1/2 the at-rest inductance, a thicker magnet ID shorting ring.
  19. fixed again until paypal changes something and it doesn't automatically authorize the checkout. for future reference just message an admin and we can get to it sooner in case we dont see it. thanks.
