hence why i said build over the wheel wells. I went tight to the passenger side wheel well, and came over the driver side well 3 or 4 inches. however that extra room I gained, I lost due to making the same notch on the other side of the box to keep each chambers idenical.

Heres a place my buddy works at and they have an online store, they sell SunTek tint, which is decent stuff, a lot of professional shops use SunTek or Llumar. http://www.autotrimdesign.net/category_25001.html I also think Steve Meade also uses SunTek Tint on his rides, as well do I without issues and im using the suntek carbon 5% film. Some shops local to you may sell you tint outright without the install too. Pick up a phone and call them Stay away from tints sold at wal-marts, or car part stores, its cheap died vinyl tint that fades and turns purple in under a year ( like black magic, and gila films)

www.parts-express.com has info and tutorials iirc on how to make a crossover, as well as all the parts you would need to make said crossover. Its pretty simple to do, but maybe challenging for a beginner, but if you figure it out and get it to work you will have a sense of gratification knowing you built them!

also if your peak is 40hz sealed, your cars peak with the door open and in the kick should be significant higher, resulting in a higher number. you did good using no bassboost, that is never ever needed!

build around and above the wheel wells and you can get a lot more space. I just built a box for a pair of 18s in a blazer. came out really nice!

Just beware, the CTEKs are expensive!! I think the small ones go for around $100, and the big bad ass 2500 is a couple hundred easily!. But usually just linking the batteries all together changes the resistance or something, i forget exactly, but it will sometimes trick the charger into giving them a good charge. Im a lil hungover so my brain is not functioning proper. lol

The thing with AGM batteries is they dont charge like a normal battery. What you should try is linking all the batteries together and charging them that way. I had to do that with a nsb90 to get it working again. You can attempt to recondition the battery, which may help but you need to have a charger with a mode to do that like a CTEK $$$$$$$$

THIS IS BAD ADVICE BECAUSE A 500AMP FUSE WILL TAKE AT LEAST A CONSTANT DRAW OF 600+AMPS FOR A FEW MINUTES BEFORE IT BLOWS, BY THAT TIME YOUR CAR WILL ALREADY BE ON FIRE! x2! For 2200wrms you could even get by with a 200amp fuse! Also after impedance rise, you will never see 2000rms anyways. Not to mention if you have a rear battery your never going to draw that much current from the front.

Id think it be true, I know California has additional things done to vehicles for Smog, that are not equipped on other vehicles in other parts of the US. Cali is by far the most drastic with emissions testing!!

I also have 7 direct runs of wires that are 3/0 and 1/0. 3 runs of ground, and 4 runs of positive.. Not to mention each of my 3 alternators is grounded to the battery under the hood too.

Only the SA series subs from Sundown are made in china.. The SAZ line amps are made in Korea, the cheaper SAE budget entry level amps are made in china. But the thing is, there are good china build houses, and bad build house... Alpine amps, decks, subs, speakers are all made in china, and have no issues besides user error issue (same as sundown). Now Bringing something from the past back, DAT (diablo audio technologies) their amps where made in china. Ever amp that got shipped out pretty much had issues and blew, theres only a handful that are still working a year later.... Pretty sure this is the reason the company is no longer around because the cheap shitty build house screwed them over so bad....

Shops have insanely high labor rates when you have them do something that you didnt buy from them. and most people pay it. I can think of 5 shops off the top of my head that charge $40-70 a hour.. Think about it for a second, Not only does the shop have to make money, but the installer has to get paid too. A great installer thats been around for a while and knows his stuff easily can make $18-23 a hour if not more and now if you got 2 installers busting out a big job it just got more expensive for the shop to do that vehicle. The shop is not there to do handouts its there to make money and pay its employees.

I just put a good 70sq feeet of deadener in a trunk of a chrager, still got to foam it yet, but he is helping and learning Im not charging him anything for audio work I do for him, but he is usually good about taking you outta town to a nice restaurant afterwords

Most decent amps are made in Korea ( sundown, american bass, Audioque, DC, Digital Designs, Cresendo, Incriminator Audio, Atomic, Cactus Sounds). Most of them companies use to have a company called Zenon which actually makes the amplifiers and then shipped to the USA, but many have switched to another manufacture in Korea (which I will not say). But there are also some companies that have amplifiers built in China like Alpine.
