  1. Why even waste any money on the front fuse and the time puttin it in? And hopefully the insurance can protect your family when you guys are sleeping at night and your car (which is a blazing inferno around 1:00 in the morning) catches your house on fire and your scrambling out in a panic (assuming you can wake up in time) Not trying to be an ass, but shit can get serious real quick when you least expect it.
  2. This isn't too far from me, I might have to make it to this one. Maybe I'll have my setup done by then.
  3. Shoot Im on mobile so I didn't see it in your sig. I'll switch over to the full browser and check it out
  4. Take the battery out and go to autozone or O'rielys and have them test it.
  5. Glad to hear it didn't get "ugly", one way or another. Makes me never wanna ride when I hear things like this.
  6. Looks really good man I'm workin on a kerf'ed box right now too, shits not easy to get right. Lol
  7. I'll tell you what, give me a little bit and I'll draw up a sketchup of it and pm it to you with all dimensions. But definitly practice kerfing before you kerf the large pieces, cause I messed up a couple pieces it's all trial and error till you get the hang of it. Lol
  8. Well the radius to the outside of the bend is 2" so that gives a total circumference of 12.56". Since each bend is only a 90 degree bend, you take a 1/4 of the total circumference which comes out to 3.14". Now as far as the straight length of the port wall, I came up with 10 1/8" and about 3 1/2" after the bend in the back. Now I've heard that you measure the length of the port to the midpoint of the kerf flare. I already factored that into the design, but I doubt it would change the tuning too drastically.
  9. Here's a design I did for my 2 12" dc level 2's. It's 37.25 x 15 x 18. It would be no prob to drop the width a 1/4" to hit your 37" max. I'm actually building the box right now in my spare time. Pics are in build log in my sig.
  10. Cole? That's up close to Mockingbird, right? All them biga$$ houses.. You know where the USA gas station is on the corner in the albertsons shopping center on van buren? That rd is cole if you head south at that intersection.
  11. No shit? I used to (kinda) live in woodcrest. Infact, about 10 years ago, I worked at what used to be burger king and grease monkey on van buren. I think they are EZ lube and Gus Jr's now. Oh dang thats crazy! Ya I'm like 3 exits from there. Small world lol Haha thats cool. Do you have a build log here? Maybe we can meet up and swap demos sometime. No I lost all my picks but ill be posting pics in the future. And ya man that seems fun. Orionstang is gonna help me dd1 my amps once my second battery is connected Right on man, I'll pm you sometime once I get my stuff hooked back up in the car.
  12. cant believe no one clarified that you fuse both ends of the POSITIVE wire. dont worry about the negative/ground. I said the positive wire needs to be fused, a few posts above.
  13. The reason the royal purple became more "black" was because the detergents were doing their job. A dark or black motor oil does NOT mean its "bad" or it's "time to change" what it means is that the detergents in the oil are doing a good job of cleaning out the sludge an keeping the sludge suspended long enough to be captured in the oil filter. Just because the oil is black does not mean the additives and lubrication properties have broken down to a point where the oil is no longer protecting the engine at operating temperature. Edit-damn ninjas! Lol
  14. Where in Cali are you? We have an arco here in the high desert that is $3.87.
  15. That thing is gettin down! And fuck that gas price! We just barely dropped below $4.00/gal here lol
