  1. http://www.ajdesigner.com/speaker/index.php This might help? I haven't done one myself, but I've planned them out for my truck. Good luck!
  2. I believe they were rated among the best shallow mount subwoofers in production when they came out. Lots of excursion from such a little beast. You won't be disappointing from Memphis.
  3. This is a LOC, I believe he wants a line driver. What are you looking to spend?
  4. Haha nice! Makes it a little more exciting when the firework land right next to ya eh?
  5. I've got a megatron plus under the hood. It's overkill for my crank, and has plenty of headroom for a little audio. It's a great battery, won't dissapoint.
  6. If you don't drop em they'll be fine. Otherwise i suppose you could wrap 'em in foam or something. Even tape might work. Don't cover up the vent though.Nice sub choice by the way, love mojos!
  7. Nooope. It's silver actually. Copper is numero dos. So in other words you should have a few runs of 1/0 in sliver if you wanna be for rizzle.
  8. Refill your break fluid. They may also have forgot to bleed them properly.
  9. Wow man that's some real cool stuff right there. NIce windshield break!
  10. Yep. Toasted some mosfets. Instant overheat. One possibility anyhow. Some of the protection features for some brands aren't the greatest. What kind of amp?
  11. Now that is an answer. Thank you sir. I feel smarter now. But saaay, My headunit has 2v pre-outs, two for full range, one for the sub. (Left/Right). If I want to accurately measure the signal voltage and set it accordingly, isn't it convenient to actually be able to control the peak voltage of the head unit, and set it at a maximum regardless of the "volume" of the song? This unit has adjustable knobs that allow me to set it anywhere from 1v to 8v output. Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't this much safer to the amp than guessing at at the voltage gain from using the amplifiers gain knob? Once again, I might be missing something here, so sorry if I'm horribly off track.
  12. Okay, Phoenix Gold ain't cheap so I suppose i'll use it, thanks!
  13. I've been browsing a ton of systems on here but I never see anybody using a line driver. There is much speech about how low volt pre-outs suck and all, but I never see any solution except for using a better head unit. I have a nice Phoenix Gold 6 channel Line Driver I plan on using in my build, should I change my plans? Are Line Drivers just not used? Or are they in some way harmful to Sound Quality?
  14. Dude just talk to the officer that FREAKING fast and wait for him to start crying. Then offer to forget all about it in exchange for freedom.
  15. Watts = Amps x Volts.... So if it has an 80 amp fuse rating, it cannot draw more than 80 amps. Let's say 12 volts, 12x80=960watts. Of course it probably is only 80% effecient so it is actually about 800 watts. It isn't honest precisely, which is why that ocmpany gets a bad rap around here.. If your car sits at 14 volts you can expect considerably more, but don't count on it.. That power acoustik amp probably in inferior to the massive, which is CEA compliant, meaning it is a legit 800 rms. Remember, you get what you pay for.
  16. I'm jealous, must have been great. There's a cactus sounds can around green bay I wanna sit in...
  17. Wagons.... Dodge Magnum! It might be a bit over your price range but I don't think there's a cooler lookin wagon on the planet. Plus Chrysler makes bulletproof motors.
  18. Nice lookin stuff bro! Can't go wrong with O2. Especially the components, Frenchies know how to make stuff,
