  1. This, if I turn on my headlights on my '09 Equinox, my charge voltage climbs back up to 13.9ish. Not the auto headlights either, but the actual headlight position on the selector switch.
  2. Try turning your headlights on while driving. Not just the auto headlights, but the actual switch. When my Equinox starts dropping it down to the 12 range, this brings it back up to 13.9V. IT's the PCM controlling the alternator and is on most of the newer gm vehicles.
  3. All you engineering guys watch out. A lot of positions want you to travel, and that's what I got stuck in. The travel is not nearly as fun as it sounds when you start working 12-18 hour days. P.S. I went to Ferris for EET, wife went to Ferris and U of M for Social work, we're one year out now. P.P.S. Grand Valley blows at hockey
  4. BTW Dj, if you do move back up here let me know and I'll hook you up with the insurance agency I use.
  5. yep, just 6 screws. Must be somehting in the way it aligns and screws down. How would you connect the wires though?
  6. The soft part thing is pretty cool too. Take 13 drinks lol.
  7. Wrap it in saran wrap and packing peanuts and hope for the best
  8. I can agree to this. Mine still works and is accurate. Only thing that sucks is the refresh rate. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38980_Xscorpion-DVM23BB.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38981_Xscorpion-DVM23BR.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38985_Xscorpion-DVM3RS.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38982_Xscorpion-DVM23SB.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38983_Xscorpion-DVM23SR.html

For $500 I would honestly go to CL and get something nicer but if you're worried about warranties then look at a Dell, very solid PC for the price I think I saw a Dell 14" Inspiron for $530 with 6gb ram and 500gb hdd.

  11. No he does not need an isolator and it is in parallel, not series.
  12. Bc it's welding cable or just in general? I plan on using techflex for the long runs. Just in general. The guy I mentioned had his car on a lift, which settled overnight. His wire got crushed in the middle between the lift and his frame which caused a dead short to ground.
  13. I actually know someone that this just happened to. Bye Bye to 4 or 5 D-3100's and the 3400 up front
