  1. Where the hell did you get those dirt cheap?? I would LOVE to have one. I'm thinking level 5's would take it. I have no experience with mayhems but i've been in love with them recently though.
  2. I would love to see somebody successfully do a wall for their very first car audio system. lol
  3. Way to threadjack... also, please don't make your own thread asking this question.
  4. the site says 2.5 cubes, but personally i'd do at least 3 - 3.25 cubes net.
  5. While we're on the topic.. how do you get ahold of a DC lanyard.
  6. you already made a thread asking the same question. ohm load will NOT make an audible difference. It's all gonna be in the box.
  7. Are you trying to avoid spending extra money on electrical support? you're gonna spend at least 300 more on amp that can do 3500 at 2 ohms than an amp that can do it at 1 ohm. just buy the extra battery and get the 3500 at 1 ohm.
  8. Most of them have a barely noticeable tick at high excursion. get it in a box and playing and you won't have a problem
  9. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/149562-sundown-yard-sale-81412-updated-from-8612/page__hl__%2Byard+%2Bsale__fromsearch__1 ^click this. i got a pair of 15's for less than 200
  10. Most people in here would say the sundowns. If your budget is tight, I know sundown is having a yard sale right now. be sure to read the post though, the subs have minor mechanical issues. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/149562-sundown-yard-sale-81412-updated-from-8612/page__hl__%2Byard+%2Bsale__fromsearch__1
  11. I want one soo bad. but i'd have to build a new box for them and i'm jobless right now
  12. 65 sheets??? How did you aquire so much wood?
  13. That lowered suburban is sexy! Besides for the fact that it's lowered.
  14. The amp is fine on those subs, yes. Just be careful.
  15. You can't rely on Impedance rise. It changes with every frequency.
  16. Changed the above for 2 x SWR-1242D, hope you understand the kind of amp power you are dealing with, set the subsonic filter to 30-31 Hz. This is why I don't like your "designs". Your attention to detail is lacking significantly. If I hadn't caught that, it would've gone unnoticed.
  17. He didn't specify what model year they were. but that's still too much volume.
