You've got to ask yourself out of those setups when you look to the bigger ones, are you willing to put the money in alternators/charging as well? A 2nd alternator, MLA module, and a small battery bank could easily set you back 1000-2000 depending on what you went with. Just throwing that out there. If you want to do less batteries/charging system then a more cone area/less power approach would be the best for you. Like already said- spend the time/money on getting your box right!

Excercise is a wonderful way to keep busy. It will give you time to think, or zone out if you prefer. It will also make you you feel better and better as your fitness improves with your mental state. It will help get the old 'toxins' out of your system quicker too. I used to take medicine for depression and it turned into something else.. From my understanding there's no reason you can't get 4k at 14.4, which would mean more than 2200 @ 12v. I'm just going off what I've read and been told since I've never done any concrete testing with the 4ks, but I've measured a (very audibly anyway) clean 60v ac @ 1 ohm nom (I guess really .85ohms dcr) with 13.5v drops. I've literally played test tones like that for a very long time with no warm dustacaps or anything. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, just stating what I've noticed the little bit of poor testing I've done. Once I get the power to keep a pretty steady 14.4 I'll post up what they will do in the car, since most competitors go 16v. You can find them for around 600 though, which makes them very much worth the money imo.

x2 I just think people everywhere are getting dumber. You do tons of drugs you're going to look and feel like crap. I would just check, just in case, that your speakers are in phase. If for some reason you crossed a + and a - up front, or in back, that could be it. You might even try switchin the + and - at the amp to see if they're in phase with the back if the rear speakers aren't hooked up to the same amp. If you don't see them moving try playing with the filters a bit.

That right there says why he feels it wouldn't be a ground pounder. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it'll sound good/get loud, but the chances of it musically doing 150db is pretty slim. Ground pounders are generally tuned pretty low and can do 150 in the 30-35hz range. I say double the power and subs could be a gp.
