We. Need. Pics. Sounds like a voltage regulator or capacitor tho.
-
just get it fixed, sell that piece of jap shit, and buy yourself a rockford 1501bd off of ebay. 1600wrms @ 2 & 1 ohm, going for about $150.

why do you people tune so damn high? rarely ever do i tune my customers enclosures above 30hz o_o give me your spacial demensions, and the subs you're running, and i'll be able to tell you where you're going wrong, also, TBA, thats very untrue. i happen to know someone with a truck that has a res.f of 31hz walls dont mean shit for the res.f of a vehicle, soundproofing and dampening do, i hate when people like you spread misinformation like that. Mr. meade can play into the 20hz range pretty damn well, and he doesnt have anything close to a wall.

Hey man, just go to your local bass pro shop and get some deep cycle marine batts if you're gonna upgrade, mines a 60ah 1200cca model, got it for $115, but dont bother buying shit unless your electrical system can charge the battery stage no questions asked, thats the reason most batts go out, people cant keep them properly charged, i have 2 CS130s on my deep cycle and it still isnt enough at full tilt (on a super clean 600w amp, given)

its not THAT impressive, but its certainly better than 99.5% of everything else on youtube. side note, why in the heck doesnt anyome make a deck that supports flac format? Theres rumors that Digital Designs has one in the works, but come on, how come my $400 computer can reproduce flac files but a $1300 pioneer deck cant. thats just silly.

Best played loud. no clipping, so enjoy! download links are in descriptions. Edit: before anyone complains, deadmau5's song is licensed under CC and any re-use of his track is 100% legal.

GREAT price people. couldnt build these for less than 2x this, but the power handling on these is actually 300 max on the tweets, 150 max on the mids, and 200 max on the woofer channels.

Power help please
SkylarDunn replied to graham0599's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
well before you think about a battery you need to look into a high output alternator, because alternator current matters alot more than battery size, but i'd say a hc2400 under the hood would be ideal with something like a 200a alternator. Contact Excessive Amperage, they've quoted me prices lower than dc and mechman for everything, and they're just as high quality wise as everyone else : ) -
Noise Ordinance Violation
SkylarDunn replied to OSOKViciousTheMyth's topic in Tunez - All things music related
lol dont worry man, nobody can really reproduce 13hz. also you have distortion and clipping, learn to master music before you post again, please. there are audacity tutorials all over youtube -
FEELER - Locals.....how quickly could i get, say 6 ....
SkylarDunn replied to meade916's topic in SMD NEWS / ANNOUNCEMENTS
uhm...idk what kind of OSB boxes you guys are building lol, but from personal experience, i can say trying to take a box apart with a sledger isnt exactly the easiest thing... unless the other teams box is really shit lol. i say rent a bulldozer >.> Also, if this does happen, LIVE STREAM! -
Going to have flow issues with that port. gimmie your box dimensions and the subs you're using, ill design you a box. im not on here too often, so best to drop a line here. http://www.facebook.com/skylar.dunn1
-
sigh... people telling other people what they NEED when they have no clue what they're talking about them selves... op, gimmie the t/s specs of the sub and i'll tell you if thats enough port area. im sure the port is too small, but you dont need 12-18 in^2, that all depends on how much xmax the sub has, how big the box is, and the t/s specs. the last box i built had 5 in^2 of port per square foot and i didnt have a single noise issue.

just PM me the songs that you want de-clipped. or msg me on facebook since i get on here once a week lol. http://www.facebook.com/skylar.dunn1 i will work my magic on anything you want, for free. The songs wont seem as loud vocal wise, because thats usually whats clipped, the tracks will be as loud and clean as possible with out clipping. http://www.zshare.net/audio/91886533b6d71e63/ take a look at that in audacity go through some of my my old wall post, 5-10 clip free songs on there at least.
-
actually, yellow is constant, red is ignition, your wiring is ghetto as hell btw op LOL and jcon, he doesnt have this, but another blue wire could be for a power antenna. op, just hit the hardware store, and get some crimp-caps. make sure your fuse didnt blow in the HU and that you pushed the power button, lol. if that still doesnt work, make sure the plug is all the way in, and if STILL nothing, get yourself a walmart DMM for $10 and check around for the correct voltage.

.FLAC Compatible Headunits
SkylarDunn replied to FunkMcOwnage's topic in Head Units-Processors and Eq's
i HIGHLY doubt your setup needs flac quality material, unless your have a super-linear driver responce curve and everything it pointsourced at the driver. clean 320kbps will do you just fine. -
Tuning to a Subs FS. Good or Bad?
SkylarDunn replied to LongHairDontCare's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
It'll actually control excursion better at the lower frequencies around the tuning frequency. Tuning at 30hz, for instance, is going to load the cone in the 25-40hz range pretty well and control excursion while the port does a lot of the work. Edit: nevermind. -
