Pre-made boxes are usually made out of shitty cardboard wood and tuned really high. They usually lack port area and might have all kinds of leaks. Not to mention they are rarely the right size for your subs because subs require different volumes depending on the sub. They also do not take into account the car that the boxes are going into which should be taken into account... Dude building your own bow is the best thing you could ever do. And pitbull no offense but you probably should not be giving others advice on here... You have a lot of learning to do before you do

^^this Your hifonics is actually probably higher quality, from what I've seen the RF prime series isn't anything special. Plus don't worry about the 100 watts, on a daily set up that isn't even an audible difference, and to be honest probably isn't a difference at all.

Well the ones you've mentioned arnt really on the "decent" list. I can't tell you about the soundstream honestly, but audiopipes are really hit and miss on the forums, people either love theirs, or I see some really horrible horror stories about them. It's kind of a gamble I think. But other amps for a good price, if I were you I'd look into a crescendo bc2000, the AQ 1200 or sundown1200 or 1500. You pay more but you only have to buy them once!

The equipment sounds good, but the box doesn't. Why 8ft^3? that like double the size your sub needs. I'm going to do a build with 2 18's soon and although the parameters of the subs I will he using have not yet been realeased, I'm almost sure my box will be 8ft^3-10ft^3 and that's two 18's

But also if it's for a daily setup your not going to be getting 7000 watts out of it hardly ever if you ever even do! You are going to have box rise and unless you go around listening to a sine wave all day long you'll probably never pull 7000 watts worth of amperage. And if you are going to compete and burp it, that electrical with a good battery bank should be very stout

As far as alternators go your gunna be alright, I think the only thing I would look at is your battery bank now. I'm no expert on batts so I'm not going to tell you what to get, but someone will

IIRC on my brothers f-350 we grounded on a seat bolt as well but there is a thick black paint (probably model dependent) on the metal that really needed to be ground off with a dremel tool

No the hifi line are known to be underrated, I personally havnt tried one but I trust the clamp tests that I've seen. The Brutus line are better for sure
