10 sq inches of port per cube... wow but 32-35 is good for daily like fmedina said and box will also vary with power you plan to run
I know it's 12-16 but I went by the Alpine manual multiply Vb x 4 and Port area X4, I mean I am hoping alpine knows what they are doing.. right??? Also they suggest to tune to 30Hz look it up...
ok so where did you get 90sq inches of port from? im confused here
box is a little on the small side maybe shoot for closer to 3 cubes net (after all displacements) and maybe a touch more port area per cube maybe around 14-16
ninja'd by a minute.. LOL
alot of people have luck with sub up ported towards the passenger side with aeros.. some do towards the driver side and get better results.. you could try both with the same box really lol just spin it..thats what i would with 1 15 just my .02 tho
this might seem weird but would anyone care to take a shot at adding some basslines to the harry potter theme song? thats my last name and what everyone calls me by..just think itd be a fun demo song dont think its been done yet (decaf big pimpin?) purty please if its possible
ill let someone else chime in on the rest of it as i am not 100% sure on it but from the looks of it you maybe should have 3 common port walls? looks like port is in contact with 2 walls of the box if im interpreting the picture correctly
i dont think he was referring to woofers power handling being based on ohm load..i think he was referring to the power his amp puts out at those particular ohm loads (basically planning ahead as to what voice coil to get buy...i think) lol
adding batteries can only do so much on a stock alternator..x2 on a new alt..less strain on your batts and less chance of damaging equipment due to voltage drops
yeah bigger speaker can be necessary if the amp is high power enough..and does equal less resistance..but given the average everyday amps MOST people run..its just overkill and a headache lol biggest i would go is 8 gauge OP but like derrick said..i do know people who use 4 gauge there also running like 9k lol
i am a die hard cards fan and i nearly blew a gasket this morning when i read what happened.. truth is hes a fool for leaving St. Louis...he goes on a slump like he did this year for a while see if L.A. is as understand as cards fans were..he was a god in that town and beloved more than any player in the MLB.. he might be making more money but he wont have the fan base behind him...and on a side note i hope he brakes his ankle /end rant
