I was just curious if you guys actually check and filter every one of your songs for clipping? with audacity etc. I checked a few of my songs and noticed that some are fine and others are clipping a fair bit but only on the highs well over 80 hz. Im sort of new to this music/audacity thing. I just want to make sure im not going to harm my equipment with "bad" music. Is there an expected amount in a normal song? or is there a way to fix this or get songs without any? Thanks Example: my Rack city has no clipping of the bass line but a significant amount in the higher frequencies. its not boosted or slowed.

Thats an awsome diagram!. Only concern would be what if (god forbid) a stepdown malfunctioned? would all you electronics be toast or would the current just stop somthing like a blown fuse.? Just a thought

This is probably a dumb question but it's been bugging me for a while. I seen that you are not supposed to charge the 12 volt XS Batts at more than 14.4 Volts. I also see alot of peoples systems with a voltage in the low 15's range. Does that harm the Batteries or only when using a charger over 14.4?.

You could have somone rebuild it to get more amps or even put a smaller pulley on it. But for the hassle I would just look into getting a higher output alt.

Yeah, Drilling them out would be the easiest solution. Just be careful dont have your hand near it or on it lol the drill binded up in one of mine before and nearly took a finger off i was being careless.

Not sure about Kinetik resting voltage being low. But I can tell you that having your stock battery in there will drag them both down when the car is off. So what should I do? I have no money for another XS batt right now.

So Right now I have a kinetic HC 1400 as a second battery in paralell with my stock battery. i will be adding 2 XS power xp3000's soon. How do i set these up? can I run the xp's with the kinetic in paralell? and to the stock batt? I have 2 runs of 0 ga from the alt to the back. One run to my stock and one run to my kineitic. I just need to know the best way to wire these damn things up. Thanks I wanted to replace the stock batt with the kinetic but was told they are not mant for that soooo...

Ok. The sound is like a woosh woosh woosh hollow sound only on Low notes at higher volume. I sanded the middle brace and a little bit of the port but it did not help much. I need to round the port edges but i have no router to do it with I do have a dremel though
