How about this, would you like me to redo the test and use only a TRMS Multi meter. THen how are you going to know the point where clipping occured? The only thing wrong with what I did may be the way I come across on the video instead of explaining why there is such a drastic difference. Here is the fact of the matter. 99% of people who clamp are going to do exactly what I did. Take the biggest number you see and claim it as watts. i agree with you, most will take the max true rms and dont even know what an o-scope is. most dont know what power factor is, for most, this video will show them how far off they are. but for people who do it right and have all proper tools, this video is completely wrong. i could care less if you re-do it, but at the end of the day , if you showed people how to properly clamp in this video none of the arguments would be made in this thread. and the amm-1 wold look even better since you dont have to do any calculations or readings and you dont need more than one person to clamp. please understand im not trying to argue, but this video can be misleading.

All I gotta say is amm-1 is a great tool. Pricey but good tool. Prolly best smd tool to date. Video showed clamp wrong. Admit it and move forward. How hard is it to make another 4 minute video? Someone who doesn't read through all these pages or watches video on Facebook or YouTube are going to be mislead. Your product can sell itself, doesn't need to put others down in false ways to sell it. For clamping in a car to see real power this tool is probably the easiest most affordable out there. Are there other ways, yes but this tool will eliminate all human error and be dead on everytime. Awesome stuff.

There is no way to set and forget. Since it works with your stock voltage regulator it is all temperature dependent. So I have mine set at 13.8 on vcm warm and it is 15 cold. So once car warms up I leave it in adjustable mode and turn it up as engine warms up. In summer it will be more stable but in winter I have to keep it down for the set voltage so car doesn't start at 16.2+ and ruin something. Kinda sucks. Wish they had preset buttons on it. That would be nice.

ive been hearing talk of this bigger port everywhere. im wanting to see results from people who have done this. also i would think it loses musicallity due to less control of cone. a stiffer suspension is needed maybe?

The battery works when the car is connected to the battery, electrons are allowed to flow. 3 things in bat. There are 2 connectors that go out of the battery. These are called the cathode and anode. There is also a solution that the cathode and anode sit in (Battery Acid). When used a chemical reaction occurs between the acid and the anode (positive terminal) which releases electrons that flow through the circuit. These reenter the battery through the cathode (negative terminal) where another chemical reaction is happening between the cathode and solution. The electrons are incorporated in the products of this reaction. in car batts the cathode is lead dioxide (PbO2), the anode is a sponge of lead (Pb), and the solution is sulfuric acid (H2SO4). When the battery is being used, the 2 connections react to form lead sulfate (PbSO4) by reacting with the sulfuric acid. When a battery dies, it is because one or more of the chemical reactants is more or less used up or is lost somehow due to leaks or other loss. if its not connected, there is no way for electrons to be made to keep battery alive. also there can be sulfation that can occur on the plates which slows or stops the reaction. creates a build up on plates yes if the battery was made so poorly with bad material, the plates may warp or touch due to shock? which would short the battery i believe. but usually there are 6 seperate cells so chances of that happening arent great, i would think
