Have you tried using a heavier cleaner like peek? Very good imo, you can get it in small tubes too. Or if it goes deeper i`d say your best bet is just some sand paper... start low then go up to high grit, hit it with a polisher like brasso or peek and it`d be hella shiny by the time your done
