What's your budget like for 2 sets of comps and a 4 channel? this. i'd just do 6.5's all around though. would make for a more even sound imo. edit: many many 6.5's come with 6x9 adapter plates What he said and if not you can buy them from sonicelectronix.com they make an adapter plate from most sizes to 6.5". I would also do 6.5 comps all the way around but we need to know a budget before any advice can be given.

Sounds good but I have a question where is your voltage at right now. Even on the MBQuart they should be seeing 600-750 each but they don't seem like they are getting any power.

well, ive had tons of great luck buying used equipment. havent been ripped off yet. and what kind of an alternator and how much would pay for it if you were running 4000 watts rms? And im also leaving him some room to upgrade if he wants to in the future! Good call on the future-proofing. So if the used equipment goes tits up you're gonna spring for replacements? Just playing devil's advocate here. I know that if I was paying someone to install a system in my car, I wouldn't want used parts. Also, if I paid someone to install a system in my car and an amp went bad, then I'd expect them to replace it. Are you prepared to do that? well, we have discussed the options on buying used equipment already, and its assumed that with the money that he is saving, there is the risk of something failing. turns out that after the last couple days of buying all kinds of stuff, i actually was able to get basically everything i want for that budget. brand new fi sp4 fully loaded 15 2 brand new shrukien bt-60 batteries used pioneer 3200dvd brand new singer 240 amp alternator with overdrive pulley brand new re audio mids and highs for front door and rear deck used 4 channel amplifier 50 ft of 1/0 gauge from knukonceptz 40 ft of 8 gauge from knukoncepts 14 ft of 9 conductor wire 2 sheets of mdf plexiglass window(s) blue leds all connections and terminals and fuseblocks are new solder carpet wood glue screws bulk pack 36 sq ft of stinger sound deadening used crunch gp3000 pro amp so everything is on the way here now. build log coming soon! Again I would reconsider the rear deck option, not only is it a bitch to get to...it's a bitch to get to plus again the rear doors have the housing for 6.5" speakers all you need to buy is a mounting ring and you're set the hole and the door grill is already there. idk what you mean bro, there are already speakers in the rear deck. and instead of actual speaker hole and grille, its just a little cubbie in the rear doors. Yeah I am aware of the by 9's in the rear deck but they are a PITA to get to (atleast they were on the 07 Altima I did for a friend), we decided to instead use the rear door for a second set of comps. I'm not sure if anyone on here has ever heard of him but I have been listening to this kid for about 2 years now and he has a crazy flow. This is one of my favorites from him but I love most if not all of his music. He got signed to Warner Bros. so let's see what happens with it.

I wouldn't do the rear deck but instead just do rear speakers in the rear doors they already have the speaker grill and hole just no speaker. Just leave the rear deck empty and deaden it or port through it. As for sub amp I would look for something better at that price maybe look for a used Crescendo 2k as for the Stinger Roadkill if you use Stinger10 at checkout you save an extra 10% good until April 22. I know their not known for their name, i was very skeptical about them too before buying them, but i did some research on them before i purchased them and i assure you i dont regret it, these are performing on a level i never expected from pyle. And i wont lie about something im requesting help in, the boss blade 4000 did in fact push all these mids on 1 channel, this is no lie i was there when i did it lol!! Oh I am in no means doubting it did but what I am saying is 4000w to em 90% chance it was not sending a true 500w to each speaker. Remember these are pro audio so it doesn't take much to make em loud, if that amp was sending lets say 1200w then that 150w to each mid would sound crazy loud. I respect what you are saying and i know you know what you are talking about, i have been in this music business a couple years now and i do know these brands aren't top brands but, we also do under estimate some of these under dogs, because i see some of them doing as much damage as those of top name brands, but as soon as i get a amp for them i will upload it for you to see but there is a short vid on you tube of my car, it was my first time uploading and i did it with my phone, so i recorded it the wrong way so its showing narrow but watch it and you will see my rear deck i fiberglassed and how my bass is rattling my car, remember though it was recorded by a phone so sound quality isnt all the good i was just showing the bass power. search in youtube 2007 nissan altima sound system, its the one with the kipling dolls hanging from the rear view mirror, let me know what you think LOL, believe me I don't know as much as you're giving me credit for and you're right the under dog brands do get underestimated but they have given themselves a bad rep by giving ridiculous power claims. Op, When you do find an amp I would be interested to see vids of these in action but brands like Pylo, Pyramid, Lanzar, Boss ect, tend to stretch the truth on their ratings and a lot of people run into issues thinking they are louder than they really are.

Are you sure those Pyle's can take 500w ? I have never heard of the PND8 before but the brand isn't known for its quality so I would be skeptical to see them actually play 500w rms. Let me add that it is no way in hell that Boss Amp you mentioned was doing anywhere near 4000w. Plus why would you want a 4000w mid range setup? I think you would be happier seeing those mids take a good clean 150 each. i would look at the Crescendo c1100.4 or 1600.2 the Sundown 200.4 DC 175.4 and just get one tune it the right way (dd1/cc1 or oscope) and really throw some clean power at em and see how they hold up.

What brand are these speakers, damn that is a lot of power to a mid. If they can actually handle the power you may be better off purchasing a sub amp and running multiples together.

They recently came under new management and the entire line has been revamped to bring back what the name on the amp use to mean. The amps have been overhauled and quality is back in the product. I wouldn't touch the Picasso that ish is still cheap crap but the Rubicon and Reference series are bad ass I have a 4.600 and 2 1.2500 Rubicons and absolutely love em. A lot of brands don't wanna be sold online because it takes away from their worth same with phoenix gold after aamp of america bought em out they re did the whole brand and now they don't do online dealers their new stuff is great as well definitely bringing back what pg use to represent. I have noticed a lot of companies trying.to.follow suit as well with bringing back the badass in their lines.
