well i dont have any pics yet but this is what i did. i had some old car audio stuff laying around and an old vcr/dvd combo that didnt work. so naturally i gutted it and installed 2- 5 1/4" q power speakers up to an old xplod h/u i had and powered it with my (recently rrod) xbox360 power supply. ( and no i didnt chop up the power supply) its pretty neat and sounds halfway decent. ill get pics tomarrow when i get near my cam lol. it was an alright install.... did the best i could to fit the speakers and h/u in the case comfortably. also put it on a switch so i dont hafta unplug the power supply everytime i want to shut it off. i just hit the switch and the power supply light goes back to amber (from green) the highlight of my day LOL anyone else do anything neat r interesting today? -jarrid

yea i see a bunch of stuff i wouldnt even think of buying......maybe its just me.... but for 1 i wouldnt buy mtx, powerbass, jensen, eclipse, or jvc. from what ive seen and heard and experienced its junk. yea they all will play music and bump.....just wont get loud and do rated. my 2 cents....

I misunderstood where the problem was lol. maybe try some peel and seel under the edge of the trunk around the latch and see if that works (til you get money for actual sound deadener....) and good thought on it not opening after closing....lmao didnt even think of that HA that would suck

um no. dont listen to this guy. not gunna put him down like i want........ but like beat2deth said press on that part of the trunk n see if thats it. then (since you already know it is) pop the trunk and put your hand inside the trunklid and feel if you can reach that part n i would use great stuff and fill it up...... its cheap n expands a TON. definitly will stop a rattle. downside is it gets very messy. im sure theres other alternatives but thats cheap n i bet that works. my 2 cents... -jarrid oh btw never use duct tape (yes its spelled duct) or gorilla tape on any build as it looks horrible and its the hackers way out. yes the knock sensor would cause bad mileage..... dont know why nobody told you it will..... it basically checks your engine for knocks or (detonation) caused by a bad air /fuel ratio then adjusts acordingly to within specs...... i know for a fact it will cause bad mileage lol.... my 2 cents! hope it helps -jarrid

They are the best of blocks to boost, thanks to an open deck design. Great motor to build for N/A though no open deck block is good to boost..... thin cylinder walls..... a great block to boost is a fully closed deck..... have it sleeved and put bout 25 psi to it (with proper internals and standalone ecu and such) and you will have a QUICK car. me personally im not a honda person...dont have anything against them but i like my subaru. btw isnt the k20 the most powerful out of the box? thats what i was told lol i heard they are hard to find aftermarket parts for though n thats why no one uses them..... idk...

isnt that the same engine thats in the bonnevilles? the 3100? if it is i would also check for a intake manifold leak..... those engines are known for it. usually when it goes it sucks in antifreeze and itll spin a bearing....but itll run kinda like that. also hows ur power steering pump? sounds kinda whiny lol js lifters are usually pretty noisy on those engines also so thats probably the ticking your hearing. i work @ south windsor auto parts (salvage yard) so i see these engines ALL the time. take it to autozone for a free check engine light diagnosis and see what the code says. its flashing so i would be a little worried about wasting too much time as things will get worse...... just my 2 cents -jarrid ps- let us know what happens! edit DUR- if i read ur sig i wouldve known it was a 3800 as its the 3.8 liter.... but still same design.....my thought doesnt change lol

check out skar audio V V X series. they have 8" 10" 12" and 15".... they have good daily driver subs and if i remember correctly he makes boxes for them too ...... best bang for your buck on a budget i think..... and kevin is a great guy to work with. good luck edit: check out maliboom on here. he has 8 12's from skar audio n his car SLAMS
