  1. What an awesome day...traded in my voltmeter and still waiting on the VM-1 so I don't have one in. Pretty sure either my Interstate or my XP3000 has taken a crap on me and there was no way to tell til it was too late. Timing is such a bitch...

  2. 7 packages coming in the mail. Can't wait!

  3. Sealing the edges of a wall in a 4dr car where the wall doesn't quite come up to the B-pillar and there's a gap on front of back doors. How do I seal it and make it look good?

Forgot to mention I need it to be removable from inside the cabin so I can still unlock my back doors manually. No automatic locks :/

Make MDF trim panels to go around the wall. Use some peel and stick weather stripping on the edges.

  4. Appreciate the video Steve! Means a lot that you'd still take the time to make it even though you sound like you caught something bad. Hope you get well soon we need to see more Amp Test Tuesdays!
  5. I just generated the same tones in Audacity and put them onto my iPod since that's the only thing I listen to. Considering I have a CD stuck in my headunit and all that fun stuff lol. Haven't ran into problems from it
  6. Just ordered a Jasper Circle Jig 200, long overdue lol. Least I'll have perfect circles for my door pods/speaker rings!

Yeah. I have the 200. ONe of my best investments. They are a little flimsy-ish when the router is attached though.

  7. Depends upon the speakers themselves, the application, etc. And yes, if you have 8 4 ohm speakers you can wire them in pairs of 2 with the negatives and positives together for a final load of 2 ohms per channel
  8. I don't understand what this question has to do with DC Sound Lab, but it should be fine. I wouldn't put it in the middle of the panel though, probably closer to the edges where it's a big stronger
  9. CarAudioFabrication...I think you've finally given me motivation and expertise to fiberglass my doors. Absolutely cannot wait any longer!

Dang, I've only been working about 2 days a week recently. We've been stupid slow for most of summer. Might as well enjoy it while I can!

I have a feeling that's how Fall semester will be for me...soaking in summer while I can and thankful for it

  14. I'll be the first to admit...I stood strong behind my Stinger saying 'oh those people whose stingers stopped working must've done something to break them'. After the past week of wondering why my voltage went from being a strong 15.0 volts to maxing out at 13.7 on my Stinger and going through the hassle and stress of thinking that either my alternator or one of my batteries got fried to finally figuring out that the voltmeter stopped reading correctly I am looking forward to ordering myself a VM-1. Will be sending it in within the next few days!

  16. OMFG I'm hooked on Plasti-dip. Dipped some trim on the car, now parts of the door panels, and also my steel factory rims that have looked like shit forever. This stuff is amazing!

  17. Damn it all, knew I shouldn't have let that old guy at Home Depot take the bolt from me and just test fit it myself...second time he's screwed me over with them shaky ass hands of his! edit: How sure are you of that size btw?
  18. Question has been answered, I appreciate the help everybody! Quick question guys, I'm trying to attach 3 runs of SHCA 1/0 to my XP3000 which already has 1 run of welding cable and 1 run of 4 gauge SHCA attached to the positive post and I'm unable to fit them all on there. Went to home depot and took the post out of the battery and took it to the hardware section to size it up. Came out with 1/4" x 28 for the thread size but when I bought that size it doesn't fit in there. This was the only size it screwed into on the fitting chart but I'm obviously wrong with this size considering the 1/4" x 28 bolt didn't fit into the battery lol. Wanting to make a run to the store in the morning so that I can finish this up (literally the last thing I need to hook up lol). I know I've rambled on a bit now, but I was just wondering what the actual size of the bolt on the XP3000 is so that I can get a longer one to fit in there. Thanks for reading
  19. Basically, I'd saw my grandmother's arm off and slap her with it just to get this amp...fking lol'ing so hard at that Amp Test Tuesday
