    I would go 10s myself..so they have optimum space instead of 12s that might be iffy on space...plus I like the vvx10s...they look better than the 12s to me at least

    You can use cardboard to make templates to fill the gaps around your wall...I am sure there are other techniques but that's a very simple one.. As for subs/amp/electrical...I would budget for electrical for alt upgrade...0 gauge...big3..then go from there It's a huge step forward to go from 200w to a full blown wall...

    The surfboard PPI was the ProMos450...I also had a Punch250...and another PPI that was a ProMos with the rounded side and triangle side..don't remember the size...I had 2 Punch Power Series 12s..along with 2 kicker comp15s..2comp12s and 4comp10s...I was a car audio hoarder for a couple years...LOL

    First amp I ever bought was a Punch 4080..then Punch 200m(squared)...never hooked up either...then got a PPI (white surfboard)...and then just bought my 94cavalier with PPI pc2350 and PPI pc450...on 2 kicker comp15s...all Boston acoustic pro audio mids/highs...this was back in 98...wish I had all those amps still!

    When I had a 96civic JEGS recommended a 70series flowmaster muffler instead of the cannon muffler...had a nice moderately deep tone for a 4cyl...and look into a high flow cat!

    I personally think Hifonics are fine for a budget build..now I wouldnt recommend the HFi series..but the BRZ series I would.. you should look at getting the BRZ2100.1d that would be 1050w per sub if running it @1ohm at only about $90 more than the HFi2000d or the BRZ2400.1d that would be 1200w per sub @1ohm and its about $90 more than the HFi3000d thats if your only considering Hifonics amps...I am sure that someone can or would recommend something different if you asked..
