  1. No tips really. Reconing is pretty straight forward. Just make sure to center the coil!
  2. Yea I even saw a post on another forum by Jacob saying those are glued down so permanently that you may as well buy a new basket.
  3. Geez, when I reconed my SA-8 I broke the frame trying to get that spider ring off haha.
  4. Sometimes it sucks being an introvert.

  6. One week left and I'm barely making it!

  7. I do have another amp.. hmm. Link meh Caleb!? I'm having a harder time than I thought finding a cheap converter, but there are many options for finding 12v. Any old computer desktops laying around you don't use have a 12v power supply, usually 10-15 amps. You could also bring in a car battery just keep it charged up lol. Pricey, but Stinger makes 40, 60 and 70 amp 12v power supplies that are good: http://www.ebay.com/...=item4d0356e998 Mmmm okay

Hahaha sweet Jesus those were some good puns.

  9. Maybe the deck doesn't have enough voltage to turn on both amps. Try putting the remote into only one amp and see if it turns on. Edit: Just read your bold lol
  10. Alright, thanks for those links. I'll browse parts express for more options. The sub is a D4 and don't feel like reconing since I just reconed it!
  11. I've been spending SO much money lately. Good thing more is coming in than leaving, jeez.

  12. I'm looking to for a 300-500ish rms amp to power an SA-8 in my dorm. What's the price range I'm looking at and I am not looking to spend much money at all.
  13. How long was your ground from the amp to battery though?
  14. Portland, of course. But I just figured I'd check online if someone had a used one they didn't want so I didn't need to have someone make one. If I can't find one in the next few days I'll try and get someone to make one.
