yeah my guess is your ohms rise was closer to 2 ohms. i never seen a fosgate do less then rated even on poor electrical(at a short burp period) also how long did you burp it?

so you clamped the amp and it did 460w at 1ohm? how exactly did you manage that. what is your sub wired to, did you get any impedance rise?

pwx do get louder than the xxx, my brother had a set and sent them back. the kickers he had was louder

they are the pwx, they do sound good and get loud too

yeah get a bigger amp.. it will save you money on a bigger alternator on the extra wire and the extra batteries.. when you run an amp at .5 ohms it draws double the amps it needs at 1ohm

cause its getting old and they keep asking even after 100's of post about the same thing

im with him.. just get a bc3500. you wont need that big of an alternator i would do .5 ohms if i had the bc5500 and no other amp that can do batter

you will need more batteries and a big ass alternator 350+ amps and maybe it will work for you not to forget lots of wire
