One shop tried telling me wanli was the best all season tire for big rims. So many shitty box chevy's on 24 inch wanli's in Chicago, lol

  3. did good.. now only time will tell if they are durable amps
  4. then you dont need it and the shop wants to take money from it.. the way you have it is perfect
  5. i just said what cars need to have grounds running to the front.. a unibody car.. a fox body mustang being one of them, Jesus Christ.. they have no frame connecting the front to the rear and all that keeps them together is a bushing with rubber on it.. why do you think you need to ground the alternator to the battery? could it be because the heads have a gaskets that affects the path of return.. not all cars need to have the grounds running to the front but many do. or you have to find a way to ground the rear frame correctly because a bushing with a rubber is not sufficient enough.. yeah there might be ground back there but could have resistance lets find out what car he has first to see if the shop wants to take him on his money
  6. youre missing the point.. its all dependent. you dont know what car he has and the shop might be right about running the grounds to the front
  7. what car is it that you want to do?
  8. if he dont have a solid ground he will have to run it to the front.. the panel is not stout enough to carry grounds.. also there are body bushing with rubber that can affect the current.. the best ground is the frame.. if there is frame under the trunk he will have to drill a hole to ground to it.. if its a unibody he will have to run the grounds to the front or find a way to connect the front frame to the rear frame
  9. if you ground over the carpet you will have a bad day.. it needs to be in solid metal not even the panel is a good ground.. if you dont have solid metal in the rear run the grounds to the front battery
  10. if you dont ground nothing will work
  11. at least it helps to see the consistency on manufacturing
  12. wish i had the funds for a scv7500 sundown always building beast equipment
  13. he says the coil reads 1.7.. if thats the case then its not a bad sub..
  14. or made sure the sub isnt really bad.. post the video so people can help you see if its bad or not
  15. his post wasnt clear at all.. on reads 2 ohms the other doesnt.. that could mean anything OP post the video
  16. 1.71?
  17. easy wiring too.. just wire the power to the fuse bolt, the ground to the screw that screws to the body panel, and the remote to the ignition switch and the volt meter is working..
  18. have you contacted singer? what car do you have
  19. well look at it this way.. 2 D3100 will run you $728 and thats not including shipping in into Canada.. with those 2 D3100 you will be around 160 heavier and you will still have voltage drop.. an alternator even if it dont fit your car $499. so that means you have $228 to pay someone to make the alternator fit.. you will save weight and have your voltage where you need it
  20. maybe you didnt get my post.. battery rating means squat if you dont have the alternator to support the demand.. get an alternator
  21. no.. you will play longer but eventually you will be digging on battery power.. you can add 10 D3100 and still have voltage drop.. the alternator is what makes the power the batteries just store it it be cheaper to buy a 250A alternator and a tiny battery in the rear like a d1200 or even the d935
  22. yeah its the same thing i say.. if 1 D3100 is good for 5000 watts why do we need 5 of them on a 9k amp or 3 on a 5k amp? it could be because of the alternator output.. if you have an alternator that can supply the demand you don need that many batteries..
