While I know we see lots of crazy bastages on here running XS batteries by the dozen, I would wager a significant bet that a majority of their batteries end up under the hood. I think it would be well known by now if it was going to be an issue.

Is there a tutorial on how to do this somewhere? I saw the Mini Mac one but no iPad.

Yeah, it's unfortunately that way. We have a very strict rule about this (TONS of VS. wars before it was introduced) Both are build rock solid, get whatever will suit your needs within price, availability, and what you want to do with it. You will be happy with either Welcome to the forum I understand, but I don't understand. I mean, what better way to make your audio bucks stretch the furthest than to ask an entire forum of people with experience with those products. I know some guys are rolling with huge budgets on here, but I sure as hell ain't one of them. When I drop a grand on subs, I wanna know I got the best bang for my buck possible. I also see it from Meades side you don't want an echo chamber of people with no experience name dropping and shit talking about products they've never even seen (much less heard) in person. Sucks either way i guess.

Deka's the good ones right? How does this compare numbers wise to the Kinetik? I haven't found anywhere the Kinetiks numbers are available online for comparison.

These batteries any good. I think I read on here somewhere these were made by Deka which is supposed to be good? I have about $150 for a new underhood battery and I am leaning towards this one. There's a place for Kinetik 1800's for not a ton more, but if this is sufficient, then I'd rather do it local and save on shipping ect. I live in KC so I have access to most major auto parts joints. If there's a better suggestion for a comparable price, please feel free to link it!
