Personally id put it furthest away from the port, so in this case at the top. But with this design depending on the drivers weight you may make this box unstable if its going to stand upright like that. EDIT: I think nearest to the port would work the best after looking at it again.

In my opinion.... Because of chainstores like bestbuy, circuit city, and walmart. Consumers who shop at these places don't have the knowledge to fix issues/install on their own stereo so they listen to whoever sells them their stuff to get their knowledge. Most of those sales people work on commision, they'll bullshit from the moment you walk in the door in order to get a few extra dollars on their paycheck. Dude at bestbuy tells a person that a capacitor is exactly what they need to stop headlights dimming, that person tells another person, and so on. Plus capacitors are flashy, contain led's and voltage meters sometimes and for some reason every 16 year old wants one cause its 'cool'. Just my opinion though.

As stated already try the big 3, if that doesn't work add a small battery to the rear or just get a nice beefy battery for the front depending on the amount of power you're running. You definitely do NOT want a capacitor! A small xs power or kinetik battery is equivalent of 100+ 1 farad caps for only a few dollars more than a 1 farad cap, way worth the extra money. Plus you'll have overhead to upgrade in the future. Good luck

CCA is cold cranking amp which means the battery was tested in extreme cold and thats how many amps it puts out at that temperature. You cannot compare CCA to Amps. The difference in red and blue is one is starting and one is deep cell, so it all depends on your particular usage. I guess the red and blue is "racing" and "audio" batteries, but I would almost consider the red batts as a starting bat because thats all they're meant to do is start the car and go down the track for a short period of time.

I'd only use that if it were a tear in the surround. And if it were a tear i'd use "the amazing goop", repaired a tear on a friends sub a few years ago and the sub still works to this day.

Think of aero's like a high output exhaust system. If you were going to build something to go fast (or in this case get loud) you would have tuned headers and probably true duals to get the most bang for your buck. Not saying the tuned theory for exhausts is going to work on subwoofers but its the easiest way for me to explain it. Its almost like a dual exhaust system missing part of one exhaust, its now not completely tuned right. I'll type more tomorrow, sleep meds are engaging.

Sell the other sub and amp and buy a d9 and recone your current one. Whats your max voltage in your class? Work on achieving that voltage

I would NOT order from that site, it has no security seal stating its safe to order from there. Not worth the risk. Even if you get something for your money I guarantee it's not real. I have a pair of fakes and 2 pairs of real, all three hurt my feet. Nike's piss me off.
