If you know of any good OEM replacement brands, stated in the title of my thread... Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, etc. Your kit doesnt fit right, because you didnt install it correctly. Im not trying to be rude, its just the truth. I see nothing there that couldnt be fixed in less than 20 minutes (if you did it the cheap way) or 4-5 hours )If you did it the correct way) OR if you are sure that your install is kosher, look at a nicer quality install kit. I agree with this. Either it's not installed right or you bought a cheap kit. Even if it's a cheap kit it wouldn't take much to make it fit right and make it look like its supposed to be there.

Easiest way I've found to do it is get stock power window parts from a junk yard and swap it all out. -

If you're helping a friend out that price isn't bad. If I was selling it, not to a friend, I would probably ask $150 for it as long as its still in great condition. -
I had one of those and it honestly wasn't any better than the rebadged Jensen it replaced. If that's your budget I would look around for a used Pioneer, Kenwood, or Eclipse.

Don't bag it put it on hydraulics. It will be easier, get you lower, ride nicer, and look way nicer. -

Try going ported. You should have more than enough room in there to do it with 4 12's. Also, When did you do the sound deadening? If you did it as you went along that could play into it. I have had some vehicles that lost #'s on the mic after adding more deadening but were louder to the ear without all the vibrating panels, etc.

They got pretty low for being in a sealed box but never tried them ported because I didn't have room in the truck they were in (or my Eclipse the few weeks they were in there). I pulled them out of my Eclipse because someone was gonna buy them then never showed up. I might have to try doing something ported with them someday but for now I like my DC Lvl 4 12 that's in their place because I have some trunk space back.
