  1. I personally prefer AutoPage. I paid $150 installed for my C3 RS-665-2W.
  2. Hydroholics.net. Not sure if they can ship to you or not but if they can they will. Hands down the best hydraulics you can buy and amazing customer service. These guys will be able to let you know exactly what you need. They have done a couple benz's as well as other higher end cars and know what is involved.
  3. If it were me I would get a set of strutbags from AIM Industries, a small compressor like a Viair 380, a 2-3 gal flat round tank that can mount in the spare tire well, and 4 valves. You'll only need 1/4" or 3/8" line and 1 switch to control the whole rear as one. The reason I would go with this over a set of custom made springs is that once those springs are made that's what you've got. If you ever make any changes that adds more weight or takes some away how will those springs ride? Not only that, you're going to have to go with such a high spring rate to compensate for the weight that it's probably going to ride really stiff and is going to put more stress on the strut towers and unibody.

  5. If your box is built solid enough it shouldn't vibrate any more than any other surface you mount to. I've mounted amps to boxes many times and never had an issue but my boxes are usually more solid than anything else in the vehicle.
  6. If you're looking to lay it out you usually ditch the sway bars. Going with the smaller bag is still gonna give you a nice ride even with bumps. If you decide to go with a bigger bag just choose your shocks carefully to counter the body roll.
  7. A bigger bag is gonna give you a softer ride and more of a floating feel.
  8. AIM has actually changed quite a bit over the last few years. I quit doing business with them until a couple years ago after having a personal meeting with the owner, Joe Morrow. We talked about their business practices and how they treated their customers because I was one of the customers that was screwed over by them. He made things right with me and Mr. Morrow has personally become active in the mini truck community over on streetsource.com which has had a great influence on them turning things around and taking care of those that keep them in business. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them now. Sure there are other products out there that may be better than some of theirs but you're going to pay a lot more for them and the difference isn't always worth the difference in price. They do however have many hard to find parts and stuff for rides that other companies don't produce (your Malibu is a good example of this). One last suggestion, your Malibu has McPherson suspension so you might want to look into hydraulics instead. They can be completely bolt in, with accumulators ride much better, and if you get a quality setup you'll have no more than and likely less issues than you will with air. Check out Hydroholics.net
  9. There are a few companies that make them but they aren't cheap. I would contact AIM Industries in Mesa, Az and see about getting some strut bags made for the rear otherwise you're looking at a bag with cup mounts and to keep it lifted close to stock height it will ride like ass.
  10. Build one. Pick up a stripped lower then get your complete upper configured how you want it from Model 1 sales. I've built a couple dozen that way and haven't had an issue with any of them.
  11. And how would you prove your life was in danger? Thinking like that is a sure way to get some time behind bars and deal with a hell of a civil suit.

It makes a night and day difference and I personally won't own a Glock without it.
  13. I've got a 605 (2" .357) and have no complaints at all. They're good quality and have great prices. I'm considering getting a Mil Pro .45 but haven't taken the plunge because it may end up sitting in the safe because of all my other pistols.
  14. If its working fine with the other ammo as you said I would say it just doesn't like the cheap Federal. Some of my guns don't like certain brands so I just avoid them.
  15. I've used it in just about every sealed box I've even had/built and got good results. Like others said, stick to 1lb^3.
  16. The Springfield USGI is a nice platform to work with and can be found fairly cheap. I picked mine up new for $399. The reason I went with this, other than the price, is that it's very basic and leaves lots of room to customize it and still be cheaper than an off the shelf model. So far I've done a Wilson combat trigger, beaver tail, and hammer and I'm still under $500 on it.

Can't say there are any that I wanted but didn't get but there is one that I had 2 of that were stolen and I would love to have another pair of them now but rarely find them and when I do people want way too much from them. Alpine MRV-1507. Not really sure why I want them again because I have better amps but for some reason I can't seem to let it go.
  19. I really haven't run into anything I haven't been able to figure out on my own (or by searching around here) but sometimes I call a buddy of mine out in Phoenix for a second opinion if I'm not sure myself but so far I've always had it figured out and got pretty much the same answers from him.
